My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.

I will look with favor on the faithful people in the land. They will live with me. Those whose lives are without blame will serve me.

並聞巨音自寶座而發曰：「睹哉、睹哉、天主之幔帷降世！主將長留人間；世人當得為其子民，天主自願為其所天；

敬主之人。為我良朋。

人人皆有服從官長之義務。蓋一切權位、莫不淵源天主、而在位者、乃受命於天主者也。由是以觀、犯上作亂即違抗天主之命。為此而欲倖免、不可得矣。夫官長之可懼、惟於犯罪作惡者為然。苟能守分安己、亦何懼之有？爾願不惴其權威乎？則宜行善。如此彼將賞爾之不暇、奚遑加爾以刑哉！總之、彼乃天主之臣僕、助爾為善者也。爾若為非作惡、斯誠可畏；蓋彼之佩劍、非徒然也。彼乃天主之有司、所以加威於作惡者之身、而持天下之平。

當主之歸、見其克盡厥職、斯僕福矣。吾實語爾、主將盡所有以委之矣。

設有忠智之僕、受家主之託、督其家人、按時給食；

父乎！願父所賜於予之人、皆得詣予所在、而親睹父所賜予之榮、蓋自創世之前、父已愛予矣。

予非自謂已奪得錦標、或已臻無過之境；第予仍朝乾夕惕努力前進、以冀能把握基督、亦如予之夙為基督所把握也。兄弟乎、予自分尚無把握惟有一事可以告慰兄弟、即從前種種、悉已置諸腦後、脫然忘懷；此後種種、尚在孳孳不倦、繼續努力、聚精會神、看定目標、奮赴前程、必欲自附於基督耶穌、以臻上達庶幾無負天主之寵召。願凡信德成熟之兄弟、皆欣然以此為志也。設爾之懷抱與此略有出入、吾知天主亦必有以牖爾之衷。

見惡避若浼。見善共相歡。一言九鼎重。得失非所患。

人欲事我、宜亦步亦趨、追踵於我、庶幾我之所詣、吾僕亦克詣焉。人能事我、父必榮之。

樂只君子。心地純潔。遵行聖道。兢兢業業。優哉游哉。順主之則。惟精惟一。無貳無忒。

棄惡勉行善。和睦最可悅。

識之哉、吾立於門而叩焉；如有聞吾之音而啟其戶者、吾必進而就之、且與之同食而對酌焉。凡百折不撓、終克致勝者、吾必賜其與吾同坐於吾位之上、亦如吾之終克致勝而獲與吾父同坐於厥位之上也。

今予前往、必為爾預備居所；既往既備、當重來接爾、務使予之所在、爾等亦得與俱。
