屈身蹲踞、煢獨隕於其強暴兮、

遭糜爛、被陷害、弱制於強兮、

屈身蹲伏、以俟困苦人陷其強暴之計、

驅無辜兮入網。

His victims are crushed, they collapse; they fall under his strength.

Those they have attacked are beaten up. They fall to the ground. They fall because their attackers are too strong for them.

The helpless are crushed, sink down, and fall by his might.

Their helpless victims are crushed; they fall beneath the strength of the wicked.

So he is oppressed and beaten down; helpless people fall because of the wicked one’s strength.

Then he crushes the needy one, who cowers; And unfortunate people fall by his mighty power.

So he crouches, he lies low, That the helpless may fall by his strength.

He croucheth, he boweth down, And the helpless fall by his strong ones.

掃羅說：「願耶和華賜福給你們，因為你們體恤我。請你們回去，再確定一下，調查並看清楚他落腳的地方，是誰看見他在那裏，因為有人告訴我他很狡猾。

你家所剩下的人都必來叩拜他，求一塊銀子，一個餅，說：求你給我一個祭司的職分，好使我得點餅吃。』」

掃羅心裏說：「我把這女兒嫁給大衛，作他的圈套，好藉非利士人的手害他。」所以掃羅第二次對大衛說：「你今日可以作我的女婿。」掃羅吩咐臣僕：「你們暗中對大衛說：『看哪，王喜歡你，王的臣僕也都愛戴你，現在你就作王的女婿吧。』」掃羅的臣僕照這話說給大衛聽。大衛說：「你們把作王的女婿看為小事嗎？我是貧窮卑微的人。」掃羅的臣僕回奏說，大衛說了這樣的話。掃羅說：「你們要對大衛這樣說：『王不要甚麼聘禮，只要一百非利士人的包皮，好在王的仇敵身上報仇。』」掃羅的意圖是要大衛落在非利士人的手中。掃羅的臣僕把這話告訴大衛，大衛就歡喜作王的女婿。日期還沒有到，

若有人近前來要拜押沙龍，押沙龍就伸手拉住他，親吻他。
