So she sits at the door of her house, on a seat at the highest point of the city,

The Lord speaks; many, many women spread the good news.

Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice?At the top of the elevated places along the way, at the intersection of the paths she takes her stand;beside the gates opening into the city, at the entrance of the doorways she cries out:

Wisdom calls out in the street, she shouts loudly in the plazas;at the head of the noisy streets she calls, in the entrances of the gates in the city she utters her words:“ How long will you simpletons love naiveté? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?If only you will respond to my rebuke, then I will pour out my thoughts to you and I will make my words known to you.

So the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the master of the household was furious and said to his slave,‘ Go out quickly to the streets and alleys of the city, and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’Then the slave said,‘ Sir, what you instructed has been done, and there is still room.’So the master said to his slave,‘ Go out to the highways and country roads and urge people to come in, so that my house will be filled.

At the time for the banquet he sent his slave to tell those who had been invited,‘ Come, because everything is now ready.’

On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, Jesus stood up and shouted out,“ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, and

For this reason also the wisdom of God said,‘ I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and persecute,’

He sent his slaves to summon those who had been invited to the banquet, but they would not come.Again he sent other slaves, saying,‘ Tell those who have been invited,“ Look! The feast I have prepared for you is ready. My oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.”’

Jesus replied,“ I have spoken publicly to the world. I always taught in the synagogues and in the temple courts, where all the Jewish people assemble together. I have said nothing in secret.

And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written,“ How timely is the arrival of those who proclaim the good news.”

Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making his plea through us. We plead with you on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God!”God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God.

So go into the main streets and invite everyone you find to the wedding banquet.’
