孩子们哪，现在你们当听从我，不要偏离我口中的言语！

眾子啊，現在要聽從我；不可離棄我口中的話。

孩子們啊，要聽從我，不可違背我的話！

如今弟子啊，務要聽我，不可離棄我口中的訓言。

孩子們哪，現在你們當聽從我，不要偏離我口中的言語！

諸子宜聽、勿違我口所言、

爾小子、尚其聽之、毋棄我言。

眾子歟、務必聽我、勿棄我口所言、

Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart.

“ Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.Hear instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it.Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts.For whoever finds me, finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh.But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.”

My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion:

Turn your ear, and listen to the words of the wise. Apply your heart to my teaching.For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you, if all of them are ready on your lips.I teach you today, even you, So that your trust may be in Yahweh.Haven’t I written to you thirty excellent things of counsel and knowledge,To teach you truth, reliable words, to give sound answers to the ones who sent you?

See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,
