孩子们哪，现在你们当听从我，不要偏离我口中的言语！

眾子啊，現在要聽從我；不可離棄我口中的話。

孩子們啊，要聽從我，不可違背我的話！

如今弟子啊，務要聽我，不可離棄我口中的訓言。

孩子們哪，現在你們當聽從我，不要偏離我口中的言語！

諸子宜聽、勿違我口所言、

爾小子、尚其聽之、毋棄我言。

眾子歟、務必聽我、勿棄我口所言、

Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;

“ Now therefore, listen to me, my children, For blessed are those who keep my ways.Hear instruction and be wise, And do not disdain it.Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors.For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord;But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death.”

Now therefore, listen to me, my children; Pay attention to the words of my mouth:

My son, let them not depart from your eyes— Keep sound wisdom and discretion;

Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your heart to my knowledge;For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you; Let them all be fixed upon your lips,So that your trust may be in the Lord; I have instructed you today, even you.Have I not written to you excellent things Of counsels and knowledge,That I may make you know the certainty of the words of truth, That you may answer words of truth To those who send to you?

See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven,
