“ If you play the fool and exalt yourself, or if you plan evil, clap your hand over your mouth!

“ Do you do foolish things? Do you think you are better than others? Do you plan evil? If you do, put your hand over your mouth and stop talking!

If you have been foolish, exalting yourself, or if you have been devising evil, put your hand on your mouth.

If you have been a fool by being proud or plotting evil, cover your mouth in shame.

They shall be afraid of the Lord our God, And shall fear because of You.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.

Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Do not be hasty to go from his presence. Do not take your stand for an evil thing, for he does whatever pleases him.”Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him,“ What are you doing?”
