“ The eye that mocks a father, that scorns an aged mother, will be pecked out by the ravens of the valley, will be eaten by the vultures.

“ One person makes fun of their father. Another doesn’t honor their mother when she is old. The ravens of the valley will peck out their eyes. Then the vultures will eat them.

The eye that mocks a father and scorns to obey a mother will be picked out by the ravens of the valley and eaten by the vultures.

The eye that mocks a father and despises a mother’s instructions will be plucked out by ravens of the valley and eaten by vultures.

As for the eye that ridicules a father and despises obedience to a mother, may ravens of the valley pluck it out and young vultures eat it.

你要聽從生你的父親；你母親老了，也不可藐視她。

「人若有頑梗悖逆的兒子，不聽從父母的話，他們雖懲治他，他仍不聽從，父母就要抓住他，將他帶到本地的城門、本城的長老那裏，對長老說：『我們這兒子頑梗悖逆，不聽從我們的話，是貪食好酒的人。』本城的眾人就要用石頭將他打死。這樣，就把那惡從你們中間除掉，以色列眾人都要聽見害怕。」

有一宗人，咒詛父親，不給母親祝福。

約押說：「我不能與你留連。」約押手拿三杆短槍，趁押沙龍在橡樹上還活着，就刺透他的心。給約押拿兵器的十個少年人圍繞押沙龍，將他殺死。約押吹角，攔阻眾人，他們就回來，不再追趕以色列人。他們將押沙龍丟在林中一個大坑裏，上頭堆起一大堆石頭。以色列眾人都逃跑，各回各家去了。

愛雅的女兒利斯巴用麻布在磐石上搭棚，從動手收割的時候直到天降雨在屍身上的時候，日間不容空中的雀鳥落在屍身上，夜間不讓田野的走獸前來糟踐。

凡咒罵父母的，總要治死他；他咒罵了父母，他的罪要歸到他身上。

非利士人又對大衛說：「來吧！我將你的肉給空中的飛鳥、田野的走獸吃。」

他喝了園中的酒便醉了，在帳棚裏赤着身子。迦南的父親含看見他父親赤身，就到外邊告訴他兩個弟兄。於是閃和雅弗拿件衣服搭在肩上，倒退着進去，給他父親蓋上；他們背着臉就看不見父親的赤身。挪亞醒了酒，知道小兒子向他所做的事，就說：迦南當受咒詛，必給他弟兄作奴僕的奴僕；又說：耶和華－閃的神是應當稱頌的！願迦南作閃的奴僕。願神使雅弗擴張，使他住在閃的帳棚裏；又願迦南作他的奴僕。

你的屍首必給空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸作食物，並無人鬨趕。

咒罵父母的，他的燈必滅，變為漆黑的黑暗。

押沙龍偶然遇見大衛的僕人。押沙龍騎着騾子，從大橡樹密枝底下經過，他的頭髮被樹枝繞住，就懸掛起來，所騎的騾子便離他去了。有個人看見，就告訴約押說：「我看見押沙龍掛在橡樹上了。」
