踐踏貧民、滅絕窮人的人啊，你們要聽！

耶和華說：「我要保護受欺壓的困苦人和哀歎的貧窮人，使他們如願以償。」

上帝啊，求你敲碎他們的牙齒；耶和華啊，求你拔掉這些猛獅的利齒。

他們埋伏在村莊，暗中監視受害者，殺害無辜。他們像獅子埋伏在暗處，獵取無助的人，用網羅拖走他們。

躺在床上圖謀不軌、盤算作惡的人有禍了！天一亮，他們就依仗手中的權勢行惡。他們貪圖田地，就去霸佔；想要房屋，就去搶奪。他們欺壓人，詐取別人的家園和產業。

出言不慎猶如利劍傷人，智者之言卻能醫治創傷。

毛髮好像女人的頭髮，牙齒好像獅子的牙，

他們踐踏窮人如同踐踏地上的塵土，使卑微的人無處伸冤；父子同淫一女，褻瀆我的聖名。

你這詭詐的人啊，舌頭利如剃刀，盡是害人的奸計。

惡棍們手段邪惡，用陰謀詭計和謊言毀滅困苦的人，即使窮人的訴求有理也是枉然。

住在撒瑪利亞山上的巴珊肥母牛啊，你們要聽！你們壓榨貧寒人，欺凌窮苦人，又使喚丈夫倒酒暢飲。

你們這些富有的人啊！為那將要臨到你們身上的災難痛哭哀號吧！你們的財物朽壞了，衣服也被蟲蛀了。你們的金銀生了鏽，那鏽必要指控你們，像火一樣吞噬你們的身體。在末世的日子裡，你們只知道積攢財寶。工人替你們收割莊稼，你們卻剋扣他們的工錢。那工錢發出不平的呼喊，工人的冤聲已經傳到萬軍之主的耳中了。

「虛偽的律法教師和法利賽人啊，你們有禍了！因為你們當著人們的面關閉天國之門，自己不進去，也不讓別人進去。

他們的軍隊如旋風而至，要驅散我們，他們以暗中吞噬貧民為樂，但你用他們的矛刺透他們的頭顱。

她的首領是咆哮的獅子，她的審判官是夜間的豺狼，不留一點獵物到天明。

靠壓榨窮人斂財和送禮給富人的，都必窮困潦倒。

第二隻獸像熊，用兩隻後腿站立，牙齒間叼著三根肋骨，有聲音對牠說，『起來，多吞吃肉吧！』「此後，我繼續觀看，見還有一隻獸像豹，背上有四個如鳥翼般的翅膀。這獸有四個頭，並被賦予權柄。此後，我在夜間的異象中看見第四隻獸，恐怖可怕，極其強壯，用大鐵牙吞吃、咬碎獵物，用腳踐踏所剩的。這獸與前三隻獸不同，牠有十個角。

窮人欺壓貧民，如暴雨沖毀糧食。

我說：「雅各的首領，以色列家的統治者啊！你們要聽！難道你們不知正義嗎？你們憎惡良善，喜愛邪惡，剝下我百姓的皮，從他們的骨頭上剔肉。你們吃我百姓的肉，剝我百姓的皮，打碎他們的骨頭，把他們切成塊，如同下在鍋裡、放進釜中的肉。你們遭難的時候，向耶和華呼求，祂必不應允你們。因你們的惡行，祂必掩面不顧你們。」耶和華說：「使我的子民步入歧途的先知啊，你們向供養你們的人報平安，出言攻擊那不供養你們的人。
