智慧人必承受尊荣；愚昧人高升也成为羞辱。

Wise people receive honor. But foolish people get only shame.

The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace.

The wise inherit honor, but fools are put to shame!

The wise will inherit honor, but he holds up fools to dishonor.

The wise will inherit honor, But fools increase dishonor.

The wise shall inherit glory, But shame shall be the legacy of fools.

The wise shall inherit glory; But shame shall be the promotion of fools.

Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ My servants will eat, but you will go hungry; my servants will drink, but you will go thirsty; my servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.My servants will sing out of the joy of their hearts, but you will cry out from anguish of heart and wail in brokenness of spirit.You will leave your name for my chosen ones to use in their curses; the Sovereign Lord will put you to death, but to his servants he will give another name.

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.

Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

“ Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares:‘ I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.’ But now the Lord declares:‘ Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.

A person’s riches may ransom their life, but the poor cannot respond to threatening rebukes.

Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.
