Don’t fear sudden danger or the ruin of the wicked when it comes,

忽然来的惊恐，不要害怕；恶人遭毁灭，也不要恐惧。

突然而來的恐怖、你不懼怕；惡人的毁滅臨到了、你也不驚慌；

突然來的恐嚇，你不要害怕；惡人的殘害臨到時，你也不要害怕；

恐怖忽至爾勿懼、惡人遭風爾勿驚、

一旦惡人遭譴、爾聞之而不驚。

不懼可驚之災忽至、亦不懼惡人群來加害、亦不懼惡人群來加害或作禍患臨及惡人爾亦不懼

Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,

Don’t be terrified by sudden trouble. Don’t be afraid when sinners are destroyed.

Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes,

You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked,

Don’t fear sudden danger or the ruin of the wicked when it comes,

Do not be afraid of sudden danger, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;

Do not be afraid of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;

Be not afraid of sudden fear, Neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh:

Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.

You will not be afraid of sudden disaster, or when destruction overtakes the wicked;

Don’t be afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes;

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.Be sure that all who are enraged against you will be ashamed and disgraced; those who contend with you will become as nothing and will perish.You will look for those who contend with you, but you will not find them. Those who war against you will become absolutely nothing.For I, Yahweh your God, hold your right hand and say to you: Do not fear, I will help you.Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel: I will help you— this is the Lord’s declaration. Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Do not call everything an alliance these people say is an alliance. Do not fear what they fear; do not be terrified.You are to regard only the Lord of Hosts as holy. Only He should be feared; only He should be held in awe.

He will not fear bad news; his heart is confident, trusting in the Lord.

You will not fear the terror of the night, the arrow that flies by day,

You will be safe from slander and not fear destruction when it comes.You will laugh at destruction and hunger and not fear the animals of the earth.

If the God we serve exists, then He can rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He can rescue us from the power of you, the king.But even if He does not rescue us, we want you as king to know that we will not serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”

As for you, if you redirect your heart and lift up your hands to Him in prayer—if there is iniquity in your hand, remove it, and don’t allow injustice to dwell in your tents—then you will hold your head high, free from fault. You will be firmly established and unafraid.

Then He said to them,“ Why are you fearful? Do you still have no faith?”

But even if you should suffer for righteousness, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear or be disturbed,

How suddenly they become a desolation! They come to an end, swept away by terrors.

“ Your heart must not be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me.

God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble.Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas,though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with its turmoil. Selah

Suddenly, a violent storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves. But He was sleeping.So the disciples came and woke Him up, saying,“ Lord, save us! We’re going to die!”But He said to them,“ Why are you fearful, you of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea. And there was a great calm.

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom should I be afraid?When evildoers came against me to devour my flesh, my foes and my enemies stumbled and fell.

but not a hair of your head will be lost.By your endurance gain your lives.“ When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that its desolation has come near.Then those in Judea must flee to the mountains! Those inside the city must leave it, and those who are in the country must not enter it,because these are days of vengeance to fulfill all the things that are written.Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days, for there will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.“ Then there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and there will be anguish on the earth among nations bewildered by the roaring sea and waves.People will faint from fear and expectation of the things that are coming on the world, because the celestial powers will be shaken.Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.But when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near!”

when terror strikes you like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when trouble and stress overcome you.

“ So when you see the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place”( let the reader understand),

When you hear of wars and rebellions, don’t be alarmed. Indeed, these things must take place first, but the end won’t come right away.”

You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
