不要讓它們離開你的眼目，要把它們謹守在你心中；

因此，我們必須更加留心所聽過的事，免得隨流漂去。要知道，那藉著天使所說的話既然是確定的，連一切過犯和悖逆都受到了應得的報應，那麼，如果我們忽視了如此偉大的救恩，又怎麼能逃脫報應呢？這救恩起初由主傳講，後來由那些聽見的人向我們證實。

一個人如果不住在我裡面，就像枝條被丟在外面枯乾了，然後被收集扔進火裡焚燒。你們如果住在我裡面，而我的話也住在你們裡面，那麼，凡是你們所願的，當祈求，就將為你們成就。

於是耶穌對信他的猶太人說：「你們如果住在我的話語中，就真是我的門徒了，

我兒啊，不要忘記我的法則，你的心要謹守我的誡命，因為它們會將長久的日子、生命的歲月與平安加給你。不要讓慈愛和信實離開你，要把它們繫在你的頸項上，刻在你的心版上；

你們應當使那從起初所聽到的，住在你們裡面。如果那從起初所聽到的住在你們裡面，你們就會住在子裡面，也住在父裡面。

他為正直人留存真知，他是行事純全人的盾牌；
