当挪亚六百岁，二月十七日那一天，大渊的泉源都裂开了，天上的窗户也敞开了，

以色列安然居住；雅各的本源独居五谷新酒之地。他的天也滴甘露。

使雨降在无人之地、无人居住的旷野？使荒废凄凉之地得以丰足，青草得以发生？雨有父吗？露水珠是谁生的呢？

外邦人虚无的神中有能降雨的吗？天能自降甘霖吗？耶和华我们的神啊，能如此的不是你吗？所以，我们仍要等候你，因为这一切都是你所造的。

“锡安的民哪，你们要快乐，为耶和华你们的神欢喜；因他赐给你们合宜的秋雨，为你们降下甘霖，就是秋雨、春雨，和先前一样。

他吸取水点，这水点从云雾中就变成雨；云彩将雨落下，沛然降与世人。

愿神赐你天上的甘露，地上的肥土，并许多五谷新酒。

神说：“天下的水要聚在一处，使旱地露出来。”事就这样成了。

你眷顾地，降下透雨，使地大得肥美。神的河满了水；你这样浇灌了地，好为人预备五谷。你浇透地的犁沟，润平犁脊，降甘霖，使地软和；其中发长的，蒙你赐福。你以恩典为年岁的冠冕；你的路径都滴下脂油，滴在旷野的草场上。小山以欢乐束腰；

“海水冲出，如出胎胞，那时谁将它关闭呢？是我用云彩当海的衣服，用幽暗当包裹它的布，为它定界限，又安门和闩，说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过；你狂傲的浪要到此止住。’

诸山升上，诸谷沉下，归你为它所安定之地。你定了界限，使水不能过去，不再转回遮盖地面。

以撒回答以扫说：“我已立他为你的主，使他的弟兄都给他作仆人，并赐他五谷新酒可以养生。我儿，现在我还能为你做什么呢？”以扫对他父亲说：“父啊，你只有一样可祝的福吗？我父啊，求你也为我祝福！”以扫就放声而哭。他父亲以撒说：“地上的肥土必为你所住；天上的甘露必为你所得。
