For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, And the profit thereof than fine gold.

因为得智慧胜过得银子，其利益强如精金，

因为智慧的获利胜过银子，所得的盈余强如金子，

因为智慧比银子更有价值，比金子更有益处，

因为智慧的利润胜过银子的利润，智慧的收益胜过黄金的收益。

因为智慧的盈利好过银子，她的收成胜过金子；

因為得智慧勝過得銀子，其利益強如精金，

因為智慧的獲利勝過銀子，所得的盈餘強如金子，

因為智慧的獲利勝過銀子，所得的盈餘強如金子，

因為智慧比銀子更有價值，比金子更有益處，

因為智慧的利潤勝過銀子的利潤，智慧的收益勝過黃金的收益。

因為從智慧所得的益處勝過從銀子所得的益處；智慧所生的利強於黃金；

因為智慧的盈利好過銀子，她的收成勝過金子；

得之愈於得銀、其利愈於精金、

市之愈白金、得之愈黃金、

積智慧勝於積銀、智慧利大、勝於精金、

for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.

Wisdom pays better than silver does. She earns more than gold does.

for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold.

For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold.

for she is more profitable than silver, and her revenue is better than gold.

For her profit is better than the profit of silver, And her produce better than gold.

For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.

for she is more profitable than silver, and her revenue is better than gold.

For the merchandise of it[ is] better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

For her benefit is more profitable than silver, and her gain is better than gold.

For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold.

How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! Yea, to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver.

My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; And my revenue than choice silver.

For what shall a man be profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? or what shall a man give in exchange for his life?

Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; For they are the rejoicing of my heart.

Man knoweth not the price thereof; Neither is it found in the land of the living.The deep saith, It is not in me; And the sea saith, It is not with me.It cannot be gotten for gold, Neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, With the precious onyx, or the sapphire.Gold and glass cannot equal it, Neither shall it be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal: Yea, the price of wisdom is above rubies.The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, Neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

Receive my instruction, and not silver; And knowledge rather than choice gold.For wisdom is better than rubies; And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared unto it.

The law of thy mouth is better unto me Than thousands of gold and silver.

If thou seek her as silver, And search for her as for hid treasures:

I rejoice at thy word, As one that findeth great spoil.

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thy heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honor, nor the life of them that hate thee, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee; neither shall there any after thee have the like.

Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ,and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:

I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see.
