Without revelation people run wild, but one who listens to instruction will be happy.

Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.

Where there is no message from God, people don’t control themselves. But blessed is the one who obeys wisdom’s instruction.

Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.

When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.

Without revelation people run wild, but one who follows divine instruction will be happy.

Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is one who keeps the Law.

Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.

Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Where[ there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy[ is] he.

When there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but the one who keeps the law, blessed is he!

But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but one who does good works— this person will be blessed in what he does.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you from serving as My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your sons.

If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.

He said,“ Even more, those who hear the word of God and keep it are blessed!”

The boy Samuel served the Lord in Eli’s presence. In those days the word of the Lord was rare and prophetic visions were not widespread.

Happy are those who keep His decrees and seek Him with all their heart.

There are no signs for us to see. There is no longer a prophet. And none of us knows how long this will last.

How happy is the man who does not follow the advice of the wicked or take the path of sinners or join a group of mockers!Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.

When He saw the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were weary and worn out, like sheep without a shepherd.

The one who keeps commands preserves himself; one who disregards his ways will die.

Moses saw that the people were out of control, for Aaron had let them get out of control, resulting in weakness before their enemies.

Hear this! The days are coming— this is the declaration of the Lord God— when I will send a famine through the land: not a famine of bread or a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.People will stagger from sea to sea and roam from north to east, seeking the word of the Lord, but they will not find it.

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.But how can they call on Him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about Him? And how can they hear without a preacher?And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who announce the gospel of good things!

The one who has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. And the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father. I also will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot) said to Him,“ Lord, how is it You’re going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus answered,“ If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

“ Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates.

In addition, Your servant is warned by them; there is great reward in keeping them.

For the Lord humbled Judah because of King Ahaz of Judah, who threw off restraint in Judah and was unfaithful to the Lord.
