Like one who grabs a stray dog by the ears is someone who rushes into a quarrel not their own.

Don’t be quick to get mixed up in someone else’s fight. That’s like grabbing a stray dog by its ears.

Whoever meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a passing dog by the ears.

Interfering in someone else’s argument is as foolish as yanking a dog’s ears.

A person who is passing by and meddles in a quarrel that’s not his is like one who grabs a dog by the ears.

But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels.The Lord’s bond servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, skillful in teaching, patient when wronged,

A fool’s lips bring strife, And his mouth invites beatings.

A rebellious person seeks only evil, So a cruel messenger will be sent against him.

But He said to him,“ You there— who appointed Me a judge or arbitrator over the two of you?”
