虐貧者適以富之、祐富人適以貧之。

欺压贫穷为要利己的，并送礼与富户的，都必缺乏。

欺压贫寒人为要利己的，并送礼给有钱人的，都必缺乏。

欺压贫寒人为要利己的，并送礼给有钱人的，都必缺乏。

靠压榨穷人敛财和送礼给富人的，都必穷困潦倒。

欺压穷人为要增加自己财富的，送礼给财主的，必致穷乏。

欺压贫弱者使自己富有的，送礼给富人的，都必缺乏。

欺壓貧窮為要利己的，並送禮與富戶的，都必缺乏。

虐貧者欲增其所有、是以富加富、終必缺乏、或作虐貧者反可致富餽富人反致缺乏○

One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and one who gives gifts to the rich— both come to poverty.

You might treat poor people badly or give gifts to rich people. Trying to get rich in these ways will instead make you poor.

Whoever oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth, or gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.

A person who gets ahead by oppressing the poor or by showering gifts on the rich will end in poverty.

Oppressing the poor to enrich oneself, and giving to the rich— both lead only to poverty.

One who oppresses the poor to make more for himself, Or gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.

He who oppresses the poor to increase his riches, And he who gives to the rich, will surely come to poverty.

He that oppresseth the poor to increase his gain, And he that giveth to the rich, shall come only to want.

Oppressing the poor to enrich oneself, and giving to the rich— both lead only to poverty.

He that oppresseth the poor to increase his[ riches, and] he that giveth to the rich,[ shall] surely[ come] to want.

The one who oppresses the poor to increase his own gain and the one who gives to the rich– both end up only in poverty.

坐於公庭、毋凌貧乏、毋虐煢獨。蓋耶和華必伸其冤、使虐之者反取其戾。

維此貧民、受屈欷歔、耶和華曰、余必勃然而興、手援之兮、不使藐視於人斯。

念茲勿忘、不矜恤人者、則被鞫時、亦必不見矜恤、惟素矜恤人者、喜以待鞫、

富者當思將來之苦而號泣、財自傷、衣自蠹、金銀黯敗、其黯為證、若火之燃、災及其身、蓋爾所積、必見鞫於末日、穫爾田之傭、不給其值、則籲呼升聞於萬有之主、爾處世、樂宴樂、縱淫佚、以快心志、猶牲牷肥腯、以待宰割、

貪婪之人、惟圖富有、不知貧乏將至。

我萬有之主耶和華曰、當秉公義、矜憫為懷、相待以仁、孤寡賓旅貧乏、俱勿虐遇、友朋之間、勿相謀害、惟彼不從、強項難馴、掩耳不聽、剛愎厥心、同於鐵石、不聽法度、我耶和華、以我神感古先知、遣之告眾、惟彼不聽、故我萬有之主耶和華、震怒特甚。萬有之主耶和華曰、昔我諭眾、眾不聽從、今眾籲我、我亦不聽、我散斯眾於列邦、至於素不識之地、使膏腴之壤、變為荒蕪、無人往來、遍境寂寞。

爾而善視夫善視爾者、何惠之有、蓋罪人亦如是、借人而望償、何惠之有、蓋罪人借罪人、亦欲其償如數也、敵爾者、愛之、善視之、借不望償、則爾賞大矣、爾將為至上者之子、蓋彼仁及辜恩不善之人、

彼貪人田廬、而強據之、人與第宅、及凡所有、俱遭暴虐、故耶和華曰、我必圖維、降罰於斯家、爾身弗能免難、不敢昂首以行、

蓋剝奪其民、至於貧乏、則遺棄之、人所建之第宅、則強據之。其衷懷不能恬適、其嗜好不能長存。其所食無餘、其享福不永。即當隆盛之時、必遇困厄、受其虐遇者、必群起而攻擊。彼既飽其貪饕、上帝震怒、降災如下雨、使之備嘗。雖避鐵器、而傷於銅弓。利鏃白刃、深入其膽、拔而出之、不勝戰栗、災害臨之、電火焚之、居其室者、咸遇患難。天癉其惡、地罰其罪。臨難之日、凡其所有、必盡消亡。全能之上帝、施報於惡人者若此。

以貧虐貧、若行潦忽決、盡淹所有。

呼曰、我祖亞伯拉罕、矜恤我、遣拉撒路指尖蘸水涼我舌、蓋此火燄中苦甚、

虐遇貧乏者、侮造化之主、矜憫窮民者則尊之。

又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐或晚餐、勿請朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐酬爾而受報也、惟設饌、請貧乏、廢疾、跛者、瞽者、則爾福矣、蓋彼不能報爾、而義人復生時、爾得報也、○
