For,“ The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.

The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”

He taught me and said to me,“ Let your heart take hold of my words; Keep my commandments and live;

My son, see that they do not escape from your sight; Comply with sound wisdom and discretion,

They are not to escape from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart.

Why is there money in the hand of a fool to buy wisdom, When he has no sense?

For it will be pleasant if you keep them within you, So that they may be ready on your lips.

Do not abandon her, and she will guard you; Love her, and she will watch over you.

Moreover, Your servant is warned by them; In keeping them there is great reward.

My son, if you will receive my words And treasure my commandments within you,Make your ear attentive to wisdom; Incline your heart to understanding.For if you cry out for insight, And raise your voice for understanding;If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures;Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And discover the knowledge of God.For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,Guarding the paths of justice, And He watches over the way of His godly ones.Then you will discern righteousness, justice, And integrity, and every good path.

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

The one who loves his life loses it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.
