if you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.

for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

The fear of the Lord prolongs life, but the years of the wicked will be short.

But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children,

Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name.“ They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.The Lord preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.

Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack!The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love,that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine.

The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land.

the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether.
