One who justifies the wicked and one who condemns the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.

義惡人、罪義人、皆耶和華所惡、

以惡為善、以善為惡、俱耶和華所疾。

以惡人為善、以善人為惡、斯二者主所憎、

Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent— the Lord detests them both.

The Lord hates two things. He hates it when the guilty are set free. He also hates it when those who aren’t guilty are punished.

He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the Lord.

Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent— both are detestable to the Lord.

Acquitting the guilty and condemning the just— both are detestable to the LORD.

He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, Both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.

He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to Jehovah.

The one who acquits the guilty and the one who condemns the innocent– both of them are an abomination to the LORD.

He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to Yahweh.

Keep far from a false charge, and do not kill the innocent or the righteous, for I will not acquit the guilty.

Who declare the wicked innocent for a bribe, And take away the rights of the ones who are in the right!

To show partiality to the wicked is not good, Nor to suppress the righteous in judgment.

These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judgment is not good.One who says to the wicked,“ You are righteous,” Peoples will curse him, nations will scold him;

You have condemned and put to death the righteous person; he offers you no resistance.

Then the two worthless men came in and sat opposite him; and the worthless men testified against him, against Naboth, before the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.

For I know your offenses are many and your sins are great, You who are hostile to the righteous and accept bribes, And turn away the poor from justice at the gate.

There are six things that the Lord hates, Seven that are an abomination to Him:

For those who turn justice into wormwood, And throw righteousness to the earth.”

“ For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.“ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.

But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,

Do horses run on rocks? Or does one plow them with oxen? Yet you have turned justice into poison, And the fruit of righteousness into wormwood,

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

But they cried out all together, saying,“ Away with this man, and release to us Barabbas!”( He was one who had been thrown into prison for a revolt that took place in the city, and for murder.)But Pilate, wanting to release Jesus, addressed them again,but they kept on crying out, saying,“ Crucify, crucify Him!”And he said to them a third time,“ Why, what has this man done wrong? I have found in His case no grounds for a sentence of death; therefore I will punish Him and release Him.”But they were insistent, with loud voices, demanding that He be crucified. And their voices began to prevail.And so Pilate decided to have their demand carried out.And he released the man for whom they were asking, who had been thrown into prison for a revolt and murder; but he handed Jesus over to their will.

Her leaders within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to make dishonest profit.And her prophets have coated with whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying,‘ This is what the Lord God says,’ when the Lord has not spoken.The people of the land have practiced extortion and committed robbery, and they have oppressed the poor and needy, and have oppressed the stranger without justice.

A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, But a just weight is His delight.
