I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

我知道怎樣處卑賤，也知道怎樣處豐富；在一切事上，在一切情況下，或飽足、或飢餓，或豐富、或缺乏，我都得了祕訣。

要在愛中行事，就像基督也愛了我們，為我們捨棄了自己，做供物和祭物獻給神，成為馨香的氣味。

然而，我認為必須派以帕弗迪托到你們那裡去；他是我的弟兄、同工、戰友，也是你們的使者，是為我的需要而來的服事者，因為他一直切切地想念你們大家，並且因你們聽說他患了病，他就極其難過。

所以弟兄們，我藉著神的各樣憐憫勸你們，要把自己的身體獻上，做為聖潔、蒙神喜悅的活祭；這是你們理所當然的事奉。

弟兄們，我們應該為你們常常感謝神，這樣做是合宜的，因為你們的信仰格外增長，你們大家每一個人彼此的愛也在增加。

這時候，瑪麗亞拿了一斤極其貴重的純哪噠香液，膏抹耶穌的腳，又用自己的頭髮擦乾，屋子裡就充滿了香液的氣味。他的一個門徒，就是後來要出賣耶穌的那個加略人猶大卻說：「為什麼不把這香液賣三百個銀幣去分給窮人呢？」他說這話，並不是因為顧念窮人，而是因為他是個賊。他管錢包，常常拿走其中所存的。耶穌說：「由她吧！她是為我安葬的日子而保存的。要知道，你們總是有窮人與你們在一起，但你們不總是有我。」

但是感謝神！他總是率領我們在基督裡誇勝，並且藉著我們，在各地傳揚因認識基督而有的香氣。因為在神面前，無論在得救的人中間，還是在滅亡的人中間，我們都是基督的馨香：對滅亡的人，我們是死亡的香氣以至於死亡；對得救的人，我們是生命的香氣以至於生命。對這些事，到底誰配得上呢？

你們也就像活石，被建造成一座屬靈的殿宇，進入聖潔的祭司體系，好藉著耶穌基督獻上蒙神悅納的屬靈祭物，
