These men are dangerous reefs at your love feasts, feasting without reverence, feeding only themselves. who must be silenced because they mislead whole families by teaching for dishonest gain what ought not to be taught.A certain one of them, in fact, one of their own prophets, said,“ Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.”

You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the choice animals, but you do not feed the sheep!

They went up on the broad plain of the earth and encircled the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and devoured them completely.And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are too, and they will be tormented there day and night forever and ever.

All their watchmen are blind, they are unaware. All of them are like mute dogs, unable to bark. They pant, lie down, and love to snooze.The dogs have big appetites; they are never full.
