應知一切善念、主實啟之；一切善工、主實佑之；爾有所成、莫非主之美意。

for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

God is working in you. He wants your plans and your acts to fulfill his good purpose.

for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

For it is God who is working in you both to will and to work according to his good purpose.

for it is God who is at work in you, both to desire and to work for His good pleasure.

who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,

not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God,

So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who has mercy.

Don’t be deceived, my beloved brothers.Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.

John answered,“ A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven.

But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared,not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

To this end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith with power,

for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

Turn my heart toward your statutes, not toward selfish gain.

making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him

“ But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says Yahweh:“ I will put my law in their inward parts, and I will write it in their heart. I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from you, and we have given you of your own.For we are strangers before you, and foreigners, as all our fathers were. Our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no remaining.Yahweh our God, all this store that we have prepared to build you a house for your holy name comes from your hand, and is all your own.I know also, my God, that you try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things. Now I have seen with joy your people, who are present here, offer willingly to you.Yahweh, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this desire forever in the thoughts of the heart of your people, and prepare their heart for you;

The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires.

It is written in the prophets,‘ They will all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father and has learned, comes to me.

Yahweh, you will ordain peace for us, for you have also done all our work for us.

Don’t incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice deeds of wickedness with men who work iniquity. Don’t let me eat of their delicacies.

Then the king said to me,“ What is your request?” So I prayed to the God of heaven.

The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.

But we are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth,to which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
