I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ.

You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.You rejoice in this, though now for a short time you have had to struggle in various trialsso that the genuineness of your faith— more valuable than gold, which perishes though refined by fire— may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.You love Him, though you have not seen Him. In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can his faith save him?

Conduct yourselves honorably among the Gentiles, so that in a case where they speak against you as those who do what is evil, they will, by observing your good works, glorify God on the day of visitation.

And our people must also learn to devote themselves to good works for cases of urgent need, so that they will not be unfruitful.

The secrets of his heart will be revealed, and as a result he will fall facedown and worship God, proclaiming,“ God is really among you.”

In the same way faith, if it doesn’t have works, is dead by itself.

For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God.They will glorify God for your obedience to the confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with others through the proof provided by this service.And they will have deep affection for you in their prayers on your behalf because of the surpassing grace of God in you.

Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable— if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise— dwell on these things.

For God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you showed for His name when you served the saints— and you continue to serve them.

In the same way, wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, even if some disobey the Christian message, they may be won over without a message by the way their wives live

However, do this with gentleness and respect, keeping your conscience clear, so that when you are accused, those who denounce your Christian life will be put to shame.
