That is how it continued to be; the cloud covered it, and at night it looked like fire.

That’s what continued to happen. The cloud covered the tent. At night the cloud looked like fire.

So it was always: the cloud covered it by day and the appearance of fire by night.

This was the regular pattern— at night the cloud that covered the Tabernacle had the appearance of fire.

It remained that way continuously: the cloud would cover it, appearing like fire at night.

That is how it was continuously; the cloud would cover it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.

So it was always: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.

白天，你用云柱带领他们；夜间，你用火柱照亮他们当走的路。

弟兄姊妹，我希望你们知道，我们的祖先曾经在云下走过红海，

你还是对他们大施怜悯，没有在旷野离弃他们。白天，云柱没有离开他们，仍然引导他们前行；夜间，火柱仍然照亮他们当走的路。

他们无论启行还是安营，都遵照耶和华的吩咐。云彩在圣幕上停留多久，他们就安营多久。有时云彩在圣幕上停留多日，他们就遵照耶和华的吩咐安营多日。有时云彩在圣幕上只停留几天，他们就遵照耶和华的吩咐只安营几天。随后再照耶和华的吩咐启行。有时云彩整夜停留在圣幕上，到早晨才升起，他们就早晨才启行。不管白天黑夜，云彩一升起，他们就启行。不管是两天、一个月或是一年，只要云彩停留在圣幕上，以色列人就安营不动；云彩一升起，他们就启行。

耶和华必在日间用烟云遮蔽整个锡安山和那里的会众，在夜间用火光照亮他们。祂的荣耀必遮盖一切，是白日避暑的亭子，是躲避狂风暴雨的避难所和藏身处。

我听见从宝座中传来响亮的声音说：“看啊！上帝的居所设立在人间，祂要与人同住。他们要成为祂的子民，上帝要亲自与他们同在，做他们的上帝。

祂铺展云彩为他们遮荫，晚上用火给他们照明。

也就是说，上帝在基督里使世人与自己和好，不再追究他们的过犯。祂已托付我们去传扬这和好之道。

祂白天以云柱带领他们，晚上用火柱引导他们。

耶和华走在他们前面，白天用云柱为他们指示道路，晚上用火柱照亮他们，这样他们可以日夜赶路。白天的云柱和晚上的火柱从不离开他们。

一路上，白天有耶和华的云彩停留在圣幕上面，夜间云中有火光为以色列百姓照明。
