but they are to do it on the fourteenth day of the second month at twilight. They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

They must celebrate it on the 14th day of the second month. They must do so when the sun goes down. They must eat the lamb together with bread made without yeast. They must eat it with bitter plants.

In the second month on the fourteenth day at twilight they shall keep it. They shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

They must offer the Passover sacrifice one month later, at twilight on the fourteenth day of the second month. They must eat the Passover lamb at that time with bitter salad greens and bread made without yeast.

Such people are to observe it in the second month, on the fourteenth day at twilight. They are to eat the animal with unleavened bread and bitter herbs;

因为王和众首领，并耶路撒冷全会众已经商议，要在二月内守逾越节。正月间他们不能守；因为自洁的祭司尚不敷用，百姓也没有聚集在耶路撒冷；王与全会众都以这事为善。于是定了命令，传遍以色列，从别是巴直到但，使他们都来，在耶路撒冷向耶和华以色列的神守逾越节；因为照所写的例，守这节的不多了。驿卒就把王和众首领的信，遵着王命传遍以色列和犹大。信内说：“以色列人哪，你们当转向耶和华亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神，好叫他转向你们这脱离亚述王手的余民。你们不要效法你们列祖和你们的弟兄；他们干犯耶和华他们列祖的神，以致耶和华丢弃他们，使他们败亡，正如你们所见的。现在不要像你们列祖硬着颈项，只要归顺耶和华，进入他的圣所，就是永远成圣的居所；又要侍奉耶和华你们的神，好使他的烈怒转离你们。你们若转向耶和华，你们的弟兄和儿女必在掳掠他们的人面前蒙怜恤，得以归回这地，因为耶和华你们的神有恩典、施怜悯。你们若转向他，他必不转脸不顾你们。”驿卒就由这城跑到那城，传遍了以法莲、玛拿西，直到西布伦。那里的人却戏笑他们，讥诮他们。然而亚设、玛拿西、西布伦中也有人自卑，来到耶路撒冷。神也感动犹大人，使他们一心遵行王与众首领凭耶和华之言所发的命令。二月，有许多人在耶路撒冷聚集，成为大会，要守除酵节。他们起来，把耶路撒冷的祭坛和烧香的坛尽都除去，抛在汲沦溪中。二月十四日，宰了逾越节的羊羔。祭司与利未人觉得惭愧，就洁净自己，把燔祭奉到耶和华殿中，

“你们要以本月为正月，为一年之首。你们吩咐以色列全会众说：本月初十日，各人要按着父家取羊羔，一家一只。若是一家的人太少，吃不了一只羊羔，本人就要和他隔壁的邻舍共取一只。你们预备羊羔，要按着人数和饭量计算。要无残疾、一岁的公羊羔，你们或从绵羊里取，或从山羊里取，都可以。要留到本月十四日，在黄昏的时候，以色列全会众把羊羔宰了。各家要取点血，涂在吃羊羔的房屋左右的门框上和门楣上。当夜要吃羊羔的肉；用火烤了，与无酵饼和苦菜同吃。不可吃生的，断不可吃水煮的，要带着头、腿、五脏，用火烤了吃。不可剩下一点留到早晨；若留到早晨，要用火烧了。你们吃羊羔当腰间束带，脚上穿鞋，手中拿杖，赶紧地吃；这是耶和华的逾越节。因为那夜我要巡行埃及地，把埃及地一切头生的，无论是人是牲畜，都击杀了，又要败坏埃及一切的神。我是耶和华。这血要在你们所住的房屋上作记号；我一见这血，就越过你们去。我击杀埃及地头生的时候，灾殃必不临到你们身上灭你们。”“你们要记念这日，守为耶和华的节，作为你们世世代代永远的定例。

耶和华对摩西、亚伦说：“逾越节的例是这样：外邦人都不可吃这羊羔。但各人用银子买的奴仆，既受了割礼就可以吃。寄居的和雇工人都不可吃。应当在一个房子里吃；不可把一点肉从房子里带到外头去。羊羔的骨头一根也不可折断。以色列全会众都要守这礼。若有外人寄居在你们中间，愿向耶和华守逾越节，他所有的男子务要受割礼，然后才容他前来遵守，他也就像本地人一样；但未受割礼的，都不可吃这羊羔。本地人和寄居在你们中间的外人同归一例。”

这些事成了，为要应验经上的话说：“他的骨头一根也不可折断。”

你吃这祭牲，不可吃有酵的饼；七日之内要吃无酵饼，就是困苦饼，（你本是急忙出了埃及地，）要叫你一生一世记念你从埃及地出来的日子。

就是本月十四日黄昏的时候，你们要在所定的日期守这节，要按这节的律例典章而守。”
