摩西拿膏油抹圣幕和圣幕里的一切物件，使它们圣洁；再用膏油在祭坛上洒七次，又抹祭坛和祭坛上的器具、洗濯盆和盆座，使它们圣洁。

以上是膏抹祭坛时以色列各首领为献坛之礼所献的供物，共计有银盘、银碗和金碟子各十二个，

瞎眼的人啊！供物重要呢？还是使供物神圣的祭坛重要呢？

你要用膏油抹圣幕和里面所有的器具，使它们分别出来，成为圣洁之物。要抹燔祭坛和坛上所有器具，使燔祭坛分别出来，成为至圣之物。

第二年一月一日，圣幕支起来了。摩西支起圣幕，装上带凹槽的底座，竖起木板，插上横闩，立起柱子，在圣幕上面搭起罩棚，铺上顶盖，都遵照耶和华的吩咐。

那天，因为耶和华殿前的铜坛太小，容不下燔祭、素祭和平安祭祭牲的脂肪，所罗门王就把殿前院子中间分别出来作圣洁之地，在那里献上燔祭、素祭和平安祭祭牲的脂肪。

“以色列人中的长子和头生的牲畜都属于我，因此要把他们分别出来，使他们圣洁，归给我。”

作平安祭的牲畜共有公牛二十四头，公绵羊、公山羊、一岁的公羊羔各六十只。以上是在膏抹祭坛后所收到的供物。

“要以圣所的秤为准，用上等的香料，就是没药液六公斤、香肉桂和菖蒲各三公斤、肉桂皮六公斤，再加上橄榄油四升，按着调制香料的方法制作圣膏油。要用这些膏油来抹会幕、约柜、桌子和桌上所有的器具、灯台和灯台上的器具、香坛、燔祭坛和坛上所有的器具、洗濯盆和盆座。你要使这一切圣洁，成为至圣之物。凡碰到它们的都会圣洁。“你也要用这种油来膏亚伦父子们，使他们分别出来，做圣洁的祭司事奉我。

第八天，摩西召来亚伦父子们和以色列的众长老。他对亚伦说：“你要在耶和华面前献上一头公牛犊作赎罪祭、一只公绵羊作燔祭，这些祭牲都要毫无残疾。然后，你要告诉以色列人，‘你们要取一只公山羊作赎罪祭、毫无残疾的一岁牛犊和羊羔各一只作燔祭、公牛和公绵羊各一只作平安祭，连同调油的素祭一起献给耶和华，因为今天耶和华要向你们显现。’”于是，以色列人遵照摩西的吩咐，把祭物带到会幕前。全体会众都聚集到那里，站在耶和华面前。摩西对他们说：“耶和华吩咐你们这样做，是为了向你们显出祂的荣耀。”随后，摩西对亚伦说：“你要到坛前来，献上你的赎罪祭和燔祭，为自己和民众赎罪。也要按照耶和华的吩咐，为百姓献上他们的祭物，为他们赎罪。”于是，亚伦走到坛前，宰杀为他作赎罪祭的牛犊。他儿子们把牛犊的血递给他，他用手指蘸血抹在坛角上，将剩下的血倒在坛脚旁。他照耶和华对摩西的吩咐，在坛上焚烧牛犊的脂肪、肾脏和肝叶，把皮和肉带到营外焚烧。亚伦宰了燔祭祭牲，他儿子们把祭牲的血递给他洒在祭坛四周。他们将祭牲切成块，连头颅一起交给亚伦献在坛上焚烧。亚伦洗净祭牲的内脏和腿，放在祭坛的燔祭上焚烧。随后，亚伦为民众献祭。他牵来那只为民众作赎罪祭的公山羊，宰杀后，像刚才为自己献赎罪祭一样为他们献上赎罪祭。他又牵来燔祭祭牲，依照条例献上燔祭。除了早晨的燔祭，亚伦又取来素祭，从中拿了一把献在坛上焚烧。然后，他宰了公牛和公绵羊，为民众献平安祭。他儿子们把祭牲的血递给他，他把血洒在祭坛四周。他们把公牛和公绵羊的脂肪，即肥尾巴、遮盖内脏的脂肪、肾脏和肝叶，放在祭牲的胸上，然后亚伦把那些脂肪放在坛上焚烧，将胸肉和右腿肉作为摇祭在耶和华面前摇一摇，都遵照摩西的吩咐。亚伦献完赎罪祭、燔祭和平安祭，举手为民众祝福后，走下祭坛。之后，摩西和亚伦走进会幕，又出来为民众祝福。这时，耶和华的荣耀向所有民众显现。有火从耶和华那里降下来，烧尽祭坛上的燔祭和脂肪。民众看见这景象，都欢呼起来，俯伏在地。

上帝赐福给第七天，将其定为圣日，因为祂在这一天歇了祂一切的创造之工。
