“ If someone suddenly dies near him, defiling his consecrated head, he must shave his head on the day of his purification; he is to shave it on the seventh day.

倘有人忽死其旁、而污其首之髮、則當俟第七日、即成潔之日、乃薙其首、

“‘ If someone dies suddenly in the Nazirite’s presence, thus defiling the hair that symbolizes their dedication, they must shave their head on the seventh day— the day of their cleansing.

“‘ Suppose someone dies suddenly in front of them. That makes the hair they have set apart to the Lord“ unclean.” So they must shave their heads on the day they will be made“ clean.” That is the seventh day.

And if any man die very suddenly beside him, and he defile the head of his separation; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.

“ The Nazirite is to shave his consecrated head at the entrance to the tent of meeting, take the hair from his head, and put it on the fire under the fellowship sacrifice.

He is to shave off all his hair again on the seventh day: his head, his beard, his eyebrows, and the rest of his hair. He is to wash his clothes and bathe himself with water; he is clean.

More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them as dung, so that I may gain Christand be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ— the righteousness from God based on faith.

Therefore do what we tell you: We have four men who have made a vow.Take these men, purify yourself along with them, and pay for them to get their heads shaved. Then everyone will know that what they were told about you amounts to nothing, but that you yourself are also careful about observing the law.
