If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse.

Suppose she has made herself“ unclean.” She has not been faithful to her husband. And she has drunk the water that brings a curse. Then it will go into her body. It will cause her to suffer bitterly. It will make her body unable to have children. She will become a curse.

And when he has made her drink the water, then, if she has defiled herself and has broken faith with her husband, the water that brings the curse shall enter into her and cause bitter pain, and her womb shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away, and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

If she has defiled herself by being unfaithful to her husband, the water that brings on the curse will cause bitter suffering. Her abdomen will swell and her womb will shrink, and her name will become a curse among her people.

被擄至巴比倫之猶大民眾、若咒詛人、必指斯二人曰、願主使爾如西底家亞哈、為巴比倫王以火所焚者、

爾曹必遺惡名、蒙我選者、指以詛咒、主天主將殲滅爾、以新名賜於其僕、

主既散爾於諸國、爾在彼必為人所駭異、作歌諷刺爾、譏誚爾、

我必使天下萬國、加之凌虐惡待、使其被羞辱、被諷刺、被譏誚、被咒詛、在我所逐之之各處、

我察得有種婦人、心若網羅、手若縲絏、我知斯婦、較死尤苦、天主所悅者得避之、有罪者為其所陷、

求主待之如昔日待米甸人、如待西西拉與耶賓在基順水、皆滅亡在音多珥、屍骸皆成地上之糞、求主使其將帥收場、如俄立與西伊伯、使其君王結局、如西巴與撒慕拿、

爾若背夫行不正而被玷污、在爾夫外、有人與爾同寢、

我儕得識真理後、若故犯罪、則無復有可贖之祭、惟戰慄以待審判、及將焚燬諸敵之烈火、若有犯摩西律法者、二三人作證、必殺之無赦、況蹂躪天主之子、以使人成聖之約之血為不潔、又侮慢施恩之聖神、爾意其人應受之刑、當如何重哉、經載主云、罰惡在我、我必報之、言此者、我儕知之、又曰、主必審鞫其民、

爾昔日所行之事、今日所恥者、獲何益益原文作果哉、因此事終致死亡、

於此為死之臭以致死、於彼為生之臭以致生、誰堪任此乎、

其從肉體之慾、行邪污、藐視執政者、必受刑更重、此輩膽大自肆、任意妄為、謗讟位尊者而不懼、

終必苦如茵蔯、利同兩刃之刀、其足下趨死地、其步離示阿勒示阿勒見一章十二節小註不遠、生命之道不履、其徑變遷無定、不慮終局、眾子歟、務必聽我、勿棄我口所言、爾之途當遠離之、勿近其室之門、恐爾之榮榮或作精力為他人所敗、恐爾之年為殘忍者所促、恐爾之貨財為外人所得、爾劬勞所獲者、在他人之家、恐爾身精力衰敗時、因爾之終局號泣、
