Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man’s wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,

爾告以色列人云、若人之妻行不正、干犯其夫、

“ Speak to the Israelites and say to them:‘ If a man’s wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him

“ Speak to the Israelites. Say to them,‘ Suppose a man’s wife goes astray. And suppose she is not faithful to her husband.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, If any man’s wife goes astray and breaks faith with him,

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel.“ Suppose a man’s wife goes astray, and she is unfaithful to her husband

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: If any man’s wife goes astray, is unfaithful to him,

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ If any man’s wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him,

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ If any man’s wife goes astray and behaves unfaithfully toward him,

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: If any man’s wife goes astray, is unfaithful to him,

And the priest shall cause her to swear, and shall say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou have not gone aside to uncleanness, being under thy husband, be thou free from this water of bitterness that causeth the curse.But if thou have gone aside, being under thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee besides thy husband:

To deliver thee from the strange woman, Even from the foreigner that flattereth with her words;That forsaketh the friend of her youth, And forgetteth the covenant of her God:
