When the camp is to move, Aaron and his sons are to go in and take down the shielding curtain and put it over the ark of the covenant law.

When the camp is ready to move, Aaron and his sons must go into the tent. They must take down the curtain that hides the ark where the tablets of the covenant law are kept. They must cover the ark with the curtain.

When the camp is to set out, Aaron and his sons shall go in and take down the veil of the screen and cover the ark of the testimony with it.

When the camp moves, Aaron and his sons must enter the Tabernacle first to take down the inner curtain and cover the Ark of the Covenant with it.

Whenever the camp is about to move on, Aaron and his sons are to go in, take down the screening curtain, and cover the ark of the testimony with it.

用紫赤絳三色之縷、與編棉為簾、上采織𠼻𡀔［口氷］。用皂莢木作柱四、飾以金、簾垂其間、金鈎銀座、既垂其簾、運法匱入、簾隔至聖之室、與聖室相間。

凡從猶大之纛者、循其行伍、遄征為前軍、亞米拿達子拿順統猶大軍。

凡從流便營、能臨陳者、計十五萬一千四百五十、遄征次往。○遄征時、利未族、與會幕、居於營之中、視列營法、以為遄征、各隨其纛。○

率眾往猶大之巴勒、欲舁上帝之匱至、匱前民籲居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間萬有之主耶和華。取上帝之匱、載於新車、御車者亞庇拿撻二子、一曰烏撒、一曰亞希阿、出亞庇拿撻之家、自山巔而下。亞希阿行於匱前。大闢及以色列族眾、踴躍於耶和華前或敲鈸、或播鼗擊磬、或鳴琴鼓瑟、其樂器間有松木所製者。至拿干穀場、舁匱之牛桀驁不馴、烏撒僭扶上帝之匱。耶和華怒責其過、使殞沒於匱前。上帝擊烏撒、大闢不悅、名其地曰、比列烏撒、至於今日、其名尚存。時大闢畏耶和華曰、可使耶和華之匱適我邑乎。

屬哥轄者、有暗蘭、以斯哈、希伯崙、烏泄四族、其諸丁男、自一月以上、計八千六百、使守聖所、皆當於會幕南向列營。烏泄子以利撒反、為哥轄族長。哥轄人所守者、法匱、几案、燈臺、祭壇、香壇、與幬、及聖室器皿、用以服事者。祭司亞倫子以利亞撒為利未族諸長之冠、統理守聖室之人。○

以皂莢木作匱、長二尺有半、廣與高俱尺有半、匱之內外飾以兼金、其上四周、悉以金緣。鑄金環四、置於四隅、左右各二。以皂莢木作杠、飾以金、兩旁之環、可貫杠以舁匱。杠常貫環、而弗離。我所告汝之律法、宜藏於匱。以兼金作施恩之所、長二尺有半、廣一尺有半。用圓輪法作二𠼻𡀔［口氷］、置施恩所之兩旁、每旁各一、於施恩所之上、𠼻𡀔［口氷］高展其翮、覆翼相對、俯視施恩之所。置施恩之所於匱上、以我所告之律法藏於中。我將降臨於𠼻𡀔［口氷］間、法匱施恩所之上、以諭言示爾、使告以色列族。○
