At the Lord’s command through Moses, each was assigned his work and told what to carry. Thus they were counted, as the Lord commanded Moses.

Everything was done as the Lord had commanded through Moses. Each man was given his work. And each one was told what to carry. So they were counted, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

According to the commandment of the Lord through Moses they were listed, each one with his task of serving or carrying. Thus they were listed by him, as the Lord commanded Moses.

眾海島啊，當聽從我！遠方的眾民哪，要留心聽！自出母胎，耶和華就選召我；自出母腹，他就稱呼我的名。他使我的口如快刀，把我藏在他手蔭之下；又使我成為磨利的箭，把我藏在他箭袋之中；對我說：「你是我的僕人以色列；我必因你得榮耀。」我卻說：「我勞碌是徒然，我盡力是虛無虛空。耶和華誠然以公平待我，我的賞賜在我的上帝那裏。」現在耶和華說話，他從我出母胎，就造我作他的僕人，要使雅各歸向他，使以色列聚集在他那裏。耶和華看我為尊貴，我的上帝是我的力量。他說：「你作我的僕人，使雅各眾支派復興，使以色列中蒙保存的人歸回；然而此事尚小，我還要使你作萬邦之光，使你施行我的救恩，直到地極。」救贖主－以色列的聖者耶和華對那被人藐視、本國憎惡、統治者奴役的如此說：「君王看見就站起來，領袖也要下拜；這都是因信實的耶和華，因揀選你的以色列的聖者。」耶和華如此說：「在悅納的時候，我應允了你；在拯救的日子，我幫助了你。我要保護你，要藉着你與百姓立約，為了復興遍地，使人承受荒蕪之地為業；

正如我們一個身子上有好些肢體，肢體也不都有一樣的用處。這樣，我們許多人在基督裏是一個身體，互相聯絡作肢體。按着所得的恩典，我們各有不同的恩賜：或說預言，要按着信心的程度說預言；或服事的，要專一服事；或教導的，要專一教導；或勸勉的，要專一勸勉；施捨的，要誠實；治理的，要殷勤；憐憫人的，要樂意。

這是米拉利子孫宗族中被數的，是摩西和亞倫遵照耶和華藉摩西所指示數點的。

耶和華的靈必住在他身上，就是智慧和聰明的靈，謀略和能力的靈，知識和敬畏耶和華的靈。他必以敬畏耶和華為樂；行審判不憑眼見，斷是非也不憑耳聞；卻要以公義審判貧寒人，以正直判斷地上的困苦人，以口中的棍擊打全地，以嘴裏的氣殺戮惡人。

這是所有在會幕裏事奉的哥轄人宗族中被數的，是摩西和亞倫遵照耶和華藉摩西所指示數點的。

看哪，我的僕人，我所扶持、所揀選、心裏所喜悅的！我已將我的靈賜給他，他必將公理傳給萬他不喧嚷，不揚聲，也不使街上聽見他的聲音。壓傷的蘆葦，他不折斷；將殘的燈火，他不吹滅。他憑信實將公理傳開。他不灰心，也不喪膽，直到他在地上設立公理；眾海島都等候他的訓誨。那創造諸天，鋪張穹蒼，鋪開地與地的出產，賜氣息給地上眾人，賜生命給行走其上之人的上帝耶和華如此說：「我－耶和華憑公義召你，要攙扶你的手，保護你，要藉着你與百姓立約，使你成為萬邦之光，開盲人的眼，領囚犯出監獄，領坐在黑暗中的出地牢。

但利未人沒有數在以色列人中，正如耶和華所吩咐摩西的。

摩西遵照耶和華指示的話，把贖銀交給亞倫和他的兒子，正如耶和華所吩咐的。耶和華吩咐摩西和亞倫說：

利未人卻沒有按照父系支派數在其中。
