They said,“ The LORD commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance by lot to the Israelites; and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.

“耶和华曾吩咐我主拈阄分地给以色列人为业，我主也受了耶和华的吩咐将我们兄弟西罗非哈的产业分给他的众女儿。

“耶和华曾吩咐我主抽签分地给以色列人为业，我主也遵照耶和华的吩咐，把我们兄弟西罗非哈的产业给他的女儿。

“耶和华曾吩咐我主抽签分地给以色列人为业，我主也遵照耶和华的吩咐，把我们兄弟西罗非哈的产业给他的女儿。

“耶和华曾吩咐我主用抽签的方式把土地分给以色列人，还吩咐我主将我们兄弟西罗非哈的产业分给他的女儿们。

“耶和华曾经吩咐我主要凭抽签把地分给以色列人为业；我主也受了耶和华的吩咐，要把我们兄弟西罗非哈的产业分给他的众女儿。

『永恆主曾吩咐我主把地憑拈鬮分給以色列人為產業；我主也受了永恆主所吩咐、將我們族弟兄西羅非哈的產業分給他的眾女兒。

就摩西及以色列族長之為牧伯者曰、耶和華命我主、掣籤分土、予以色列族為業、亦命我主、以我昆弟西羅非哈之業予其女、

耶和華諭我主、用掣籤之法、以斯土賜以色列族為業、亦命我主、以我戚屬西羅非哈之業、予其女、

告之曰、上主命我主、鬮分其地、給以色列人為業、上主又命我主、以本族西羅非哈之業給其女、

They said,“ When the Lord commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance to the Israelites by lot, he ordered you to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.

They said,“ The Lord commanded you to give shares of the land to the Israelites. He told you to cast lots when you do it. At that time the Lord ordered you to give our brother Zelophehad’s share to his daughters.

They said,“ The Lord commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the people of Israel, and my lord was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.

They said,“ Sir, the Lord instructed you to divide the land by sacred lot among the people of Israel. You were told by the Lord to give the grant of land owned by our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.

They said,“ The LORD commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance by lot to the Israelites. My lord was further commanded by the LORD to give our brother Zelophehad’s inheritance to his daughters.

and they said,“ The Lord commanded my lord to give the land by lot to the sons of Israel as an inheritance, and my lord was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.

And they said:“ The Lord commanded my Lord Moses to give the land as an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel, and my Lord was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.

and they said, Jehovah commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by Jehovah to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.

They said,“ Yahweh commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance by lot to the Israelites. My lord was further commanded by Yahweh to give our brother Zelophehad’s inheritance to his daughters.

And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.

They said,“ Yahweh commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the children of Israel. My lord was commanded by Yahweh to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.

You must divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families. To a larger group you must give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group you must give a smaller inheritance. Everyone’s inheritance must be in the place where his lot falls. You must inherit according to your ancestral tribes.

The land must be divided by lot; and they will inherit in accordance with the names of their ancestral tribes.Their inheritance must be apportioned by lot among the larger and smaller groups.

I will drive out before the Israelites all who live in the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, all the Sidonians; you be sure to parcel it out to Israel as I instructed you.”

Nowhere in all the land could women be found who were as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance alongside their brothers.

The following is a record of the territory assigned to the Israelites in the land of Canaan by Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the Israelite tribal leaders.The land assignments to the nine-and-a-half tribes were made by drawing lots, as the LORD had instructed Moses.

Then the daughters of Zelophehad son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh of the families of Manasseh, the son Joseph came forward. Now these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.And they stood before Moses and Eleazar the priest and the leaders of the whole assembly at the entrance to the tent of meeting and said,“ Our father died in the wilderness, although he was not part of the company of those that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but he died for his own sin, and he had no sons.Why should the name of our father be lost from among his family because he had no son? Give us a possession among the relatives of our father.”So Moses brought their case before the LORD.The LORD said to Moses:“ The daughters of Zelophehad have a valid claim. You must indeed give them possession of an inheritance among their father’s relatives, and you must transfer the inheritance of their father to them.

Now Zelophehad son of Hepher, son of Gilead, son of Makir, son of Manasseh, had no sons, only daughters. These are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.They went before Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the leaders and said,“ The LORD told Moses to assign us land among our relatives.” So Joshua assigned them land among their uncles, as the LORD had commanded.Manasseh was allotted ten shares of land, in addition to the land of Gilead and Bashan east of the Jordan,for the daughters of Manasseh were assigned land among his sons. The land of Gilead belonged to the rest of the descendants of Manasseh.
