等你们的上帝耶和华使其他以色列人和你们一样有了安身之所，占领了耶和华赐给他们的约旦河西之地后，你们才可以返回我分给你们的家园。’

玛拿西半个支派和吕便、迦得两支派已经得到耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东分给他们的产业：

要等到你们的上帝耶和华使你们的弟兄像你们一样得到祂所赐的土地，安居以后，你们才可以回到约旦河东，在耶和华的仆人摩西分给你们的土地上定居。”

约书亚能一鼓作气杀败诸王，征服他们的土地，都是因为有以色列的上帝耶和华为以色列人争战。

征服了这些地方以后，以色列全体会众都聚集在示罗，把会幕设立在那里。

约书亚照耶和华对摩西的指示，夺取整个地区，把土地按照支派分给以色列人作产业。于是境内国泰民安，没有战事了。

“我们占领了这片土地后，我把亚嫩谷边的亚罗珥以北地区和基列山区的一半及其城邑，分给吕便支派和迦得支派，把基列山区的另一半，以及噩的王国巴珊全境——整个亚珥歌伯分给玛拿西半个支派。巴珊地区又被称为利乏音人之地。玛拿西的子孙雅珥得到亚珥歌伯全境，远至基述人和玛迦人的边界。他按自己的名字给那地方取名叫哈倭特·雅珥，沿用至今。我又把基列分给玛吉，把从基列到亚嫩谷，以谷中央为界，远至亚扪人的边界雅博河地区分给吕便支派和迦得支派。我还把亚拉巴，就是以约旦河为界，从基尼烈直到东面毗斯迦山脚的亚拉巴海，即盐海地区给了他们。“那时我吩咐他们，‘你们的上帝耶和华已经把这些地方赐给你们，但你们所有的战士必须带着兵器过河，做同胞的先锋。

倘若有人因离开这房子跑到街上而遭遇不测，我们不负任何责任。我们一定保证屋内所有人的性命安全。

从他们面前赶出外族人，把外族人的土地分给他们，作为他们的产业，使以色列各支派安顿下来。

上帝啊，我们亲耳听过祖先讲述你在古时，在我们祖先时代的作为。你亲手赶出外族，把我们的祖先安置在那里；你击溃列邦，使我们的祖先兴旺发达。他们不是靠自己的刀剑征服那里，不是靠自己的臂膀得胜，而是靠你的权能、力量和恩惠，因为你爱他们。你是我的君王，我的上帝；你让雅各得胜。

以下是摩西按宗族分给玛拿西半个支派的土地：从玛哈念开始，包括整个巴珊，就是巴珊王噩的国土及其境内雅珥的六十座城邑，还有基列的一半和巴珊王噩的两座城——亚斯她录和以得来。玛拿西的儿子玛吉的一半子孙按宗族分到这些土地。以上是摩西在耶利哥对面约旦河东的摩押平原分给以色列人的产业。

大卫听到消息就说：“耶和华作证，我和我的人民永远跟尼珥的儿子押尼珥的死无关。

耶和华将立拿城和立拿王交在以色列人手中，他们杀了全城的人，一个没留。他们对待立拿王跟以前对待耶利哥王一样。
