“‘ On the first of every month, present to the Lord a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.

“ At the beginnings of your months, you shall offer a burnt offering to the Lord: two bulls from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;

“ On the first day of each month, present an extra burnt offering to the Lord of two young bulls, one ram, and seven one year old male lambs, all with no defects.

And in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt- offering unto Jehovah: two young bullocks, and one ram, seven he- lambs a year old without blemish;

Also at your times of rejoicing— your appointed festivals and New Moon feasts— you are to sound the trumpets over your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, and they will be a memorial for you before your God. I am the Lord your God.” (niv)

and whenever burnt offerings were presented to the Lord on the Sabbaths, at the New Moon feasts and at the appointed festivals. They were to serve before the Lord regularly in the proper number and in the way prescribed for them. (niv)

Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations— I cannot bear your worthless assemblies.Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals I hate with all my being. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. (niv)

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. (niv)

Now I am about to build a temple for the Name of the Lord my God and to dedicate it to him for burning fragrant incense before him, for setting out the consecrated bread regularly, and for making burnt offerings every morning and evening and on the Sabbaths, at the New Moons and at the appointed festivals of the Lord our God. This is a lasting ordinance for Israel. (niv)

I will stop all her celebrations: her yearly festivals, her New Moons, her Sabbath days— all her appointed festivals. (niv)

and you present to the Lord food offerings from the herd or the flock, as an aroma pleasing to the Lord— whether burnt offerings or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings or festival offerings—then the person who brings an offering shall present to the Lord a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of olive oil.With each lamb for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.“‘ With a ram prepare a grain offering of two- tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a third of a hin of olive oil,and a third of a hin of wine as a drink offering. Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.“‘ When you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice, for a special vow or a fellowship offering to the Lord,bring with the bull a grain offering of three- tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with half a hin of olive oil,and also bring half a hin of wine as a drink offering. This will be a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner. (niv)

From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord. (niv)

You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! (niv)

And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool.For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. (niv)

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, (niv)

It will be the duty of the prince to provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings and drink offerings at the festivals, the New Moons and the Sabbaths— at all the appointed festivals of Israel. He will provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings and fellowship offerings to make atonement for the Israelites.“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In the first month on the first day you are to take a young bull without defect and purify the sanctuary. Sound the ram’s horn at the New Moon, and when the moon is full, on the day of our festival; (niv)

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: The gate of the inner court facing east is to be shut on the six working days, but on the Sabbath day and on the day of the New Moon it is to be opened. (niv)

Does a bird swoop down to a trap on the ground when no bait is there? Does a trap spring up from the ground if it has not caught anything? (niv)

“‘ If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, you are to offer a male without defect. You must present it at the entrance to the tent of meeting so that it will be acceptable to the Lord. (niv)

Present to the Lord a food offering consisting of a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect. (niv)

“ Why go to him today?” he asked.“ It’s not the New Moon or the Sabbath.”“ That’s all right,” she said. (niv)
