主於爾家之利未人、既無恆業、則勿遺棄、每三年終、必以是年所產、什輸其一、藏於爾家、使無恆業之利未人、以及賓旅孤寡、群至爾家、食而果腹、則凡爾所為、可望爾上帝耶和華錫嘏。

摩西不賜土壤與利未族為業、惟人獻燔祭於以色列族之上帝耶和華者、則歸之、循耶和華命。○

蓋摩西曾在約但東分地與二支派、及支派之半、惟不以土壤與利未人為業。

有獻燔祭、奉事耶和華、祭司及利未支派之人可得而食、彼在同儕以色列族中、俱無恆業、惟耶和華所享之禮物、為其所得、以遵厥命。

又曰、人獻我之禮物、爾可得之、故在以色列中、爾不得土壤、以為恆業。利未人於會幕中、供其役事、故我於以色列族之土產、什取其一、錫為恆業。自是以後。以色列族不可近會幕恐負罪愆、至於死亡。利未人在會幕、供其役事、如有干犯、必負罪愆、惟於以色列中、不得土壤為業、著為永例、歷世勿替。以色列人十輸其一、舉而獻我者、我必賜之為利未人嗣業、外此則無恆業。○
