摩西告亞倫曰、耶和華怒甚、其災已降、爾當執鼎、取壇上之火炷香、急至眾會、代為贖罪。亞倫遵摩西命、取鼎、趨至會眾所、見災已降、立於生者死者間、炷香代贖其罪、厥災始弭、

在彼築壇、奉事耶和華、獻燔祭及酬恩之祭於上、耶和華允所祈、恤其國民、瘟疫止息、不染於以色列族地。

大闢曰、以此穀場、予我築壇、奉事耶和華、我與爾值、俾民疫止。

摩西告以色列刑官曰、凡屬爾統轄之人、有事巴力比耳者、悉當誅戮。○

干耶和華震怒、疫癘流行兮、迨乎非尼哈崛興、施厥刑罰、疾疫以止兮、其義彰彰、永世靡暨兮。

我斷不容以他上帝匹我、以色列族犯此、故我震怒、祭司亞倫孫、以利亞撒子、非尼哈施其熱中、以奉事我、使我不滅其眾、
