雅各召眾子曰、當集於前、我將以異日之事告爾。

我民當憶古昔摩押王巴勒謀害爾曹、庇耳子巴蘭與之黨同、自失亭至吉甲、耶和華之恩澤、爾其念之勿忘。

惟天上上帝、以秘奧示人、今將以末日之事告王、王卧於榻、中宵得夢、我試言之、

惟爾有可責數事、昔巴蘭慫恿巴勒、誘以色列人、食祭偶之物、且行淫、爾中有人從之、

魔鬼將爾數人幽囚之、加爾以禍、受難十日、然爾雖受苦、毋畏、當盡忠至死、我必賚爾永生之賞、若加冠冕、

與米田人戰、遵耶和華諭摩西之命、殺其丁男、更殺米田五王、以未、哩金、蘇耳、戶耳、哩巴、及庇耳、子巴蘭、均殲以刃。以色列人奪其妻孥、攘其牛羊、掠其貨財、城垣閭里、燬之以火、貨財什物、刧之以歸、以所得之人與物、攜之至摩押平原、約但河濱、耶利哥相嚮、建營之所、見摩西及祭司以利亞撒、與以色列會眾。摩西及祭司以利亞撒、暨諸會長、出營以迎、千夫長、百夫長、及全軍之統轄、既戰而歸、摩西見之怒甚、曰、奚拯眾婦、存其生乎。彼從巴蘭之言、誘以色列族、逆耶和華、服役於比耳、故耶和華降災於會眾。今所得之幼稚中、諸男當殺、與人同寢諸婦亦當殺。未與人同寢之女、俾全其生。

上帝曰、末日、我將以我神賦萬人、俾爾子女言未來事、幼者觀異象、老者兆於夢、

末期既屆、我必返以攔人俘囚、我耶和華已言之矣。

耶和華又曰、末期之日、我將返摩押俘囚、耶和華以摩押之事告眾、其言若此。

我將見之、不在今日、我將觀之、不於目前、自雅各家將出明星、自以色列將秉大權、摩押之隅、悉為攻擊、示特之人、俱必喪亡。

後必歸誠、求其上帝耶和華、及其王大闢、迨至末日、寅畏耶和華、頌其仁慈。

乃得涖至、以末期之事、爾民所遭者、指示於爾、所見異象、久必有應、

季世必有危日、爾當知之、
