巴兰回答说：“我不是说过，我必须按耶和华的指示做吗？”

巴兰回答巴勒说：“我不是告诉过你说：‘耶和华吩咐我的，我都必要遵行’吗？”

巴蘭回答巴勒說：「我豈不是告訴你說『凡耶和華所說的，我必須遵行』嗎？」

巴蘭回答巴勒說：「我不是告訴過你：『凡耶和華所說的，我必須遵行』嗎？」

巴蘭回答巴勒說：「我不是告訴過你：『凡耶和華所說的，我必須遵行』嗎？」

巴蘭回答說：「我不是說過，我必須按耶和華的指示做嗎？」

巴蘭回答巴勒說：“我不是告訴過你說：‘耶和華吩咐我的，我都必要遵行’嗎？”

巴蘭回答巴勒說：『我不是告訴過你說：「永恆主吩咐我甚麼、我總要行甚麼」麼？』

巴蘭對曰、我豈不語汝、耶和華所諭、我必遵循、

巴蘭對曰、我豈不曰、耶和華所諭、我必遵循。

巴蘭答曰、凡主所諭我必遵行、其言我豈未告爾乎、

Balaam answered,“ Did I not tell you I must do whatever the Lord says?”

Balaam answered,“ Didn’t I tell you that I must do only what the Lord says?”

But Balaam answered Balak,“ Did I not tell you,‘ All that the Lord says, that I must do’?”

But Balaam replied to Balak,“ Didn’t I tell you that I can do only what the Lord tells me?”

But Balaam answered him,“ Didn’t I tell you: Whatever the LORD says, I must do?”

But Balaam replied to Balak,“ Did I not tell you,‘ Whatever the Lord speaks, I must do’?”

So Balaam answered and said to Balak,“ Did I not tell you, saying,‘ All that the Lord speaks, that I must do’?”

But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that Jehovah speaketh, that I must do?

But Balaam answered him,“ Didn’t I tell you: Whatever the Lord says, I must do?”

But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do?

But Balaam replied to Balak,“ Did I not tell you,‘ All that the LORD speaks, I must do’?”

But Balaam answered Balak,“ Didn’t I tell you, saying,‘ All that Yahweh speaks, that I must do?’”

But Balaam answered them,“ Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything great or small to go beyond the command of the Lord my God. (niv)

But Micaiah said,“ As surely as the Lord lives, I can tell him only what the Lord tells me.” (niv)

Balaam answered Balak,“ Did I not tell the messengers you sent me,‘ Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything of my own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the Lord— and I must say only what the Lord says’? (niv)

But Micaiah said,“ As surely as the Lord lives, I can tell him only what my God says.” (niv)

Peter and the other apostles replied:“ We must obey God rather than human beings! (niv)

But Peter and John replied,“ Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges!As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” (niv)

He answered,“ Must I not speak what the Lord puts in my mouth?”Then Balak said to him,“ Come with me to another place where you can see them; you will not see them all but only the outskirts of their camp. And from there, curse them for me.” (niv)

“ Well, I have come to you now,” Balaam replied.“ But I can’t say whatever I please. I must speak only what God puts in my mouth.” (niv)
