The people rise like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion that does not rest till it devours its prey and drinks the blood of its victims.”

The Israelites are going to wake up like a female lion. They are going to get up like a male lion. They are like a lion that won’t rest until it eats what it has caught. They are like a lion that won’t rest until it drinks the blood of what it has killed.”

Behold, a people! As a lioness it rises up and as a lion it lifts itself; it does not lie down until it has devoured the prey and drunk the blood of the slain.”

These people rise up like a lioness, like a majestic lion rousing itself. They refuse to rest until they have feasted on prey, drinking the blood of the slaughtered!”

犹大是只小狮子；我儿啊，你猎取了食物就上到洞穴去。他屈身伏卧，好像公狮，又像母狮，谁敢惊动他呢？

便雅悯是只撕掠的豺狼，早晨吞吃他的猎物，晚上瓜分他的掳物。”

论到迦得，他说：“那使迦得扩张的，是应该称颂的，迦得蹲下如母狮，他撕裂膀臂，连头顶也撕裂。

那些王在位的时候，天上的神必兴起另一个永不灭亡的国，国权必不归给别族的人。这国必砸碎毁灭其他各国；并且这国必存到永远。

因为耶和华对我这样说：“狮子和少壮狮子怎样因捕获猎物而咆哮，虽然召集了许多的牧人来攻击它们，它们并不因他们的声音而惊慌，也不因他们的喧嚷而蹲伏；照样，万军之耶和华必降临在锡安山和它的冈陵上争战。”

那时雅各的余民，必在万国中，在许多民族里，像树林里百兽中的狮子，又像幼狮在羊群中；他若经过，就必践踏、撕碎，没有人可以拯救。愿你的手举起高过你的敌人，愿你的一切仇敌都被剪除。

长老中有一位对我说：“不要哭！看哪，那从犹大支派出来的狮子，大卫的根，他已经得胜了，他能够展开那书卷，拆开它的七印。”

狮子的洞穴在哪里？喂养幼狮的地方在哪里？公狮、母狮和幼狮不受惊吓之处，可以闲游的地方又在哪里呢？

领他出埃及的神，对他好像野牛的角；他要吞吃敌国，打碎他们的骨头，用箭射透他们。他蹲伏躺下，好像公狮，又像母狮，谁敢使他起立呢？给你祝福的，愿他蒙福；咒诅你的，愿他受咒诅。’”

“到那日，我必使犹大的族长好像木柴中的火盆，又好像禾捆中的火把；他们必向左右吞灭周围的万族，但耶路撒冷的人必仍在城中原处安居。

房角石、帐棚桩、作战的弓和所有的统治者，都从犹大而出。他们必像勇士，在战场上把仇敌践踏在街上的泥土中，他们必争战，因为耶和华与他们同在，他们必使敌方的骑士羞愧。

我看见他，却不是现在；我望见他，却不是近处；必有一星从雅各而出，必有一杖从以色列兴起；他必打碎摩押的额角，粉碎一切舍特人的头顶。

就是在百兽中最威猛的狮子，它面对任何野兽，也不会退缩；

狮子吼叫，谁不害怕；主耶和华宣告，谁敢不代他传话？

我观看，见天开了。有一匹白马，那骑马的称为“忠信”和“真实”；他按着公义审判和作战。他的眼睛好像火焰，头上戴着许多皇冠，他身上写着一个名字，这名字除了他自己没有人认识。他身穿一件浸过血的衣服，他的名字称为“神的道”。天上的众军，都骑着白马，穿着洁白的细麻衣，跟随着他。有一把利剑从他口中吐出来，他要用这剑击打列国，他必用铁杖治理他们；并且还要踹全能神烈怒的压酒池。在他的衣服和大腿上，写着“万王之王，万主之主”的名号。我又看见一位天使站在太阳中，向高空所有的飞鸟大声呼喊说：“你们来吧！齐集起来赴神的大筵席！可以吃君王的肉、将领的肉、壮士的肉，马和骑士的肉，以及自由的、作奴隶的、大的、小的，所有人的肉。”我看见那兽和地上的众王，以及他们的众军，都集合起来，要跟那骑白马的和他的众军作战。那兽被捉住了；连同在兽面前用奇事迷惑人，使他们接受兽的记号，并且拜兽像的那假先知，也一起被捉住了。他们两个就活活地被抛在烧着硫磺的火湖里去。其余的人都被那位骑白马的口中所吐出来的剑杀了。所有飞鸟都吃饱了他们的肉。

他们像急于撕碎猎物的狮子，又像蹲伏在隐密处的幼狮。
