謂巴勒曰、汝立於燔祭側、我往於彼、以覲耶和華、

謂巴勒曰、爾燔祭物、而侍其側、我往於彼、以覲耶和華。

巴蘭謂巴勒曰、爾立於此、在爾所獻火焚祭之側、我且前往、以待主臨格、

Balaam said to Balak,“ Stay here beside your offering while I meet with him over there.”

Balaam said to Balak,“ Stay here beside your offering. I’ll meet with the Lord over there.”

Balaam said to Balak,“ Stand here beside your burnt offering, while I meet the Lord over there.”

Then Balaam said to the king,“ Stand here by your burnt offerings while I go over there to meet the Lord.”

Balaam said to Balak,“ Stay here by your burnt offering while I seek the LORD over there.”

Then he said to Balak,“ Stand here beside your burnt offering while I myself meet the Lord over there.”

And he said to Balak,“ Stand here by your burnt offering while I meet the Lord over there.”

And he said unto Balak, Stand here by thy burnt- offering, while I meet Jehovah yonder.

Balaam said to Balak,“ Stay here by your burnt offering while I seek the Lord over there.”

And he said unto Balak, Stand here by thy burnt offering, while I meet[ the LORD] yonder.

And Balaam said to Balak,“ Station yourself here by your burnt offering, while I meet the LORD there.

He said to Balak,“ Stand here by your burnt offering, while I meet God over there.”

Then Balaam said to Balak,“ Stay here beside your offering while I go aside. Perhaps the Lord will come to meet with me. Whatever he reveals to me I will tell you.” Then he went off to a barren height. (niv)

“ Spend the night here,” Balaam said to them,“ and I will report back to you with the answer the Lord gives me.” So the Moabite officials stayed with him. (niv)
