其民較我強盛、請爾來為我詛之、或可攻而勝之、逐之出境、因我素知爾為誰祝福、誰則得福、爾咒詛誰、誰則受禍、

斯民強甚、我非其敵、請汝至此、為我詛之、庶我擊之獲勝、驅之出境、蓋我素知爾所祝者、則必受祝、爾所詛者、則必受詛、

此民強悍、我非其敵、汝來詛之、使我得攻擊而獲勝、驅之出境、蓋我素知爾、祝人則人受福、詛人則人被禍。

Now come and put a curse on these people, because they are too powerful for me. Perhaps then I will be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that whoever you bless is blessed, and whoever you curse is cursed.”

So come and put a curse on these people. They are too powerful for me. Maybe I’ll be able to win the battle over them. Maybe I’ll be able to drive them out of the land. I know that whoever you bless is blessed. And I know that whoever you cursed is cursed.”

Come now, curse this people for me, since they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them from the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”

Please come and curse these people for me because they are too powerful for me. Then perhaps I will be able to conquer them and drive them from the land. I know that blessings fall on any people you bless, and curses fall on people you curse.”

Please come and put a curse on these people for me because they are more powerful than I am. I may be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land, for I know that those you bless are blessed and those you curse are cursed.”

Now, therefore, please come, curse this people for me since they are too mighty for me; perhaps I will be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”

蹲如牡獅、臥如牝獅、孰敢攖之、祝爾者必見祝、詛爾者必被詛、

乃作歌曰、巴勒導我自亞蘭、摩押王召我出東山、曰、來、為我咒雅各、為我詛以色列、天主所不咒、我何能咒、耶和華所不詛、我何能詛、

為爾祝福者、我必降之以福、詛爾者我必降之以禍、天下萬族、必因爾獲福、

一日、我儕往祈禱處、遇一婢、為卜筮魔所憑、以占卜大利其主人、

既幸人受禍、願禍亦臨及其身、不願人得福、福亦與之遠離、願其被咒詛、如身被袍、咒詛如水入其臟腑、如油入其骨髓、

有人名西門、素於邑內行巫術、迷惑撒瑪利亞民、自矜為大、老少無不聽信之、曰、此人乃天主之大能也、

天主諭巴蘭曰、毋偕之往、毋詛斯民、因斯民已蒙福矣、

因昔爾出伊及時、時或作後彼不以餅與水來迎爾於道、亦因以金賄兩河間亞蘭之比奪人比珥子巴蘭來詛爾、

時摩押王西撥子巴勒起、攻以色列人、遣人召比珥子巴蘭來詛爾、

非利士人謂大衛曰、爾執杖來迎我、我豈犬乎、非利士人遂指其國之神、咒詛大衛、

往召米該雅之使者、謂米該雅曰、眾先知之言、如出一口、皆以吉言告王、不如爾言與彼無異、亦告以吉言、

爾自幼勤於符咒、多行巫術、今試立於此、今試立於此或作今任爾仍如此行或可得益、或可勝敵、勝敵或作恐喝敵人爾設多謀、徒自困乏、惟彼觀天象者、占察星辰者、在月朔宣告爾所將遇者、今可興起以拯救爾、

我必賜爾大尊榮、凡爾所言、我必行之、求爾來、為我咒詛斯民、

彼言得默示、悉屬妄誕、占卜皆屬虛偽、自謂傳主之言、主實未曾遣之、妄使人冀其言之應驗、

以色列王對約沙法曰、尚有一人音拉子米該雅、可藉之問主、然我憾此人、因其論我預言、無吉惟凶、約沙法曰、王勿如是言、

以色列王乃集先知、約四百人、謂之曰、我欲往基列之拉末以戰、可否、曰、可往、往原文作上主必付之於王手、

列國服事爾、萬族拜跪爾、兄弟尊爾為主、與爾同母者、拜跪爾、詛爾者見詛、祝爾者見祝、

因昔日不以餅以水迎餽以色列人、乃賄巴蘭來而詛之、惟我天主變詛為祝、

任彼咒詛、有主賜福、任彼興起、必受羞辱、主之僕人必得喜歡、

無故之詛言無驗、如燕雀飛過而不見、或作無故之詛言應於本身如燕雀飛回故巢
