Balaam answered the donkey. He said,“ You have made me look foolish! I wish I had a sword in my hand. If I did, I’d kill you right now.”

巴兰对驴说：“因为你戏弄我，我恨不得手中有刀，现在就把你杀了。”

巴兰对驴说：“因为你戏弄我，我恨不得手中有刀，现在就把你杀了。”

巴兰说：“因为你戏弄我。如果我手中有刀，早就把你宰了！”

巴兰对驴说：“因为你作弄我。但愿我手中有刀，现在就把你杀死。”

巴蘭對驢說：「因為你戲弄我，我恨不能手中有刀，把你殺了。」

巴蘭對驢說：「因為你戲弄我，我恨不得手中有刀，現在就把你殺了。」

巴蘭對驢說：「因為你戲弄我，我恨不得手中有刀，現在就把你殺了。」

巴蘭說：「因為你戲弄我。如果我手中有刀，早就把你宰了！」

巴蘭對驢說：“因為你作弄我。但願我手中有刀，現在就把你殺死。”

巴蘭對驢說：『因為你作弄了我，我巴不得手中有刀，即刻將你殺死。』

巴蘭曰、汝戲我、願有刃在我手、我必殺汝、

巴蘭曰、汝戲我、願有刃於我手、我必殺汝。

巴蘭曰、爾戲我、如我手有刃必殺爾、

Balaam answered the donkey,“ You have made a fool of me! If only I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now.”

And Balaam said to the donkey,“ Because you have made a fool of me. I wish I had a sword in my hand, for then I would kill you.”

“ You have made me look like a fool!” Balaam shouted.“ If I had a sword with me, I would kill you!”

Balaam answered the donkey,“ You made me look like a fool. If I had a sword in my hand, I’d kill you now!”

And Balaam said to the donkey,“ It is because you have made a mockery of me! If only there had been a sword in my hand! For I would have killed you by now!”

And Balaam said to the donkey,“ Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!”

And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in my hand, for now I had killed thee.

Balaam answered the donkey,“ You made me look like a fool. If I had a sword in my hand, I’d kill you now!”

And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.

And Balaam said to the donkey,“ You have made me look stupid; I wish there were a sword in my hand, for I would kill you right now.”

Balaam said to the donkey,“ Because you have mocked me, I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would have killed you.”

Those who do what is right take good care of their animals. But the kindest acts of those who do wrong are mean.

Here’s what is so bad about everything that happens on this earth. Death catches up with all of us. Also, the hearts of people are full of evil. They live in foolish pleasure. After that, they join those who have already died.

Evil thoughts come out of a person’s heart. So do murder, adultery, and other sexual sins. And so do stealing, false witness, and telling lies about others.

Foolish people are easily upset. But wise people pay no attention to hurtful words.
