“ Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.”

你手裏要拿這杖，用它來行神蹟。」

耶和華對摩西說：「你帶着以色列的幾個長老，走在百姓前面，手裏拿着你先前擊打尼羅河的杖，去吧！看哪，我要在何烈的磐石那裏，站在你面前。你要擊打磐石，水就會從磐石流出來，給百姓喝。」摩西就在以色列的長老眼前這樣做了。

野地的走獸要尊敬我，野狗和鴕鳥也必尊敬我。因我使曠野有水，使沙漠有河，好賜給我的百姓、我的選民喝。

他在曠野使磐石裂開，多多地給他們水喝，如從深淵而出。他使水從磐石湧出，叫水如江河下流。

摩西對約書亞說：「你為我們選出人來，出去和亞瑪力爭戰。明天我要站在山頂上，手裏拿着上帝的杖。」

耶穌回答他們：「我實在告訴你們，你們若有信心，不疑惑，不但能行我對無花果樹所行的事，就是對這座山說：『離開此地，投在海裏！』也會實現。

聖靈和新娘都說：「來！」聽見的人也要說：「來！」口渴的人也要來，願意的人都可以白白取生命的水喝。

耶穌回答：「你們對上帝要有信心。我實在告訴你們，無論何人對這座山說：『離開此地，投在海裏！』他心裏若不疑惑，只信所說的必成，就為他實現。所以我告訴你們，凡你們禱告祈求的，無論是甚麼，只要信你們已經得着了，就為你們實現。

以及亞珥地區眾河床的斜坡，都靠近摩押的邊境。」

耶和華豈有難成的事嗎？到了所定的時候，我必回到你這裏。明年這時候，撒拉會生一個兒子。」

直到現在，你們沒有奉我的名求甚麼，如今你們求就必得着，使你們的喜樂得以滿足。」

他敲開磐石，水就湧出；在乾旱之處，水流成河。

耶和華對摩西說：「你手裏的是甚麼？」他說：「是杖。」

困苦貧窮人尋找水，卻尋不着；他們因口渴，舌頭乾燥。我－耶和華必應允他們，我－以色列的上帝必不離棄他們。我要在光禿的高地開江河，在谷中開泉源；我要使沙漠變為水池，使乾地變為湧泉。

你從天上賜下糧食給他們充飢，使水從磐石流出給他們解渴。你吩咐他們進去，得你起誓應許要賜給他們的地。

摩西舉起手來，用杖擊打磐石兩下，就有許多水流出來，會眾和他們的牲畜都喝了。

摩西和亞倫就照耶和華所吩咐的去做。亞倫在法老和他臣僕眼前舉杖擊打尼羅河裏的水，河裏的水都變成血了。

天使又讓我看一道生命水的河，明亮如水晶，從上帝和羔羊的寶座流出來，

於是百姓呼喊，祭司吹角。百姓一聽見角聲就大聲呼喊，城牆隨着倒塌。百姓上去進城，各人往前直上，把城奪取。

羊角聲拖長的時候，你們一聽見角聲，眾百姓要大聲呼喊，城牆就必倒塌，各人要往前直上。」

耶穌回答她說：「你若知道上帝的恩賜，和對你說『請給我水喝』的是誰，你早就會求他，他也早就會給了你活水。」婦人對耶穌說：「先生，你沒有打水的器具，井又深，哪裏去取活水呢？我們的祖宗雅各把這井留給我們，他自己和兒女以及牲畜都喝這井裏的水，難道你比他還大嗎？」耶穌回答，對她說：「凡喝這水的，還要再渴；誰喝我所賜的水，就永遠不渴。我所賜的水要在他裏面成為泉源，直湧到永生。」

摩西就帶着妻子和兩個兒子，讓他們騎上驢，回埃及地去。摩西手裏拿着上帝的杖。

這井是領袖用權杖所挖，是百姓中的貴族用手杖所掘。」以色列人從曠野往瑪他拿去，

五旬節那日到了，他們全都聚集在一起。忽然，有響聲從天上下來，好像一陣大風吹過，充滿了他們所坐的整座屋子；又有舌頭如火焰向他們顯現，分開落在他們每個人身上。他們都被聖靈充滿，就按着聖靈所賜的口才說起別國的話來。

因為他說有，就有，命立，就立。

他叫磐石變為水池，使堅石變為泉源。

你們雖然不好，尚且知道拿好東西給兒女，何況天父，他豈不更要把聖靈賜給求他的人嗎？」

這些人和幾個婦人，包括耶穌的母親馬利亞，和耶穌的兄弟，都同心合意地恆切禱告。

你舉手向海伸杖，把水分開。以色列人要下到海中，走在乾地上。

他引導他們經過沙漠，他們卻未嘗乾渴；他為他們使水從磐石流出，磐石裂開，水就湧出。
