On the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud.

The groups of the camp of Ephraim will be on the west side. They will be under their flag. The leader of the tribe of Ephraim is Elishama, the son of Ammihud.

“ On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim by their companies, the chief of the people of Ephraim being Elishama the son of Ammihud,

“ The divisions of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin are to camp on the west side of the Tabernacle, beneath their family banners. These are the names of the tribes, their leaders, and the numbers of their registered troops: Tribe Leader Number Ephraim Elishama son of Ammihud 40,500

Ephraim’s military divisions will camp on the west side under their banner. The leader of the Ephraimites is Elishama son of Ammihud.

“ On the west side shall be the flag of the camp of Ephraim by their armies; and the leader of the sons of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud,

“ On the west side shall be the standard of the forces with Ephraim according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.”

On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their hosts: and the prince of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.

Ephraim’s military divisions will camp on the west side under their banner. The leader of the Ephraimites is Elishama son of Ammihud.

On the west side[ shall be] the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim[ shall be] Elishama the son of Ammihud.

“ On the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Amihud.

“ On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.

又後啟行者、乃屬以法蓮營纛下之軍旅、亞米忽子以利沙瑪統領其軍、

約瑟後裔、屬以法蓮支派亞米忽子以利沙瑪、屬瑪拿西支派比大蓿子迦瑪列、

瑪拿西原為長子、以色列交叉其臂、以右手按季子以法蓮首、以左手按瑪拿西首、以色列為約瑟祝福曰、惟願我祖父亞伯拉罕以撒所崇事之天主、自我生至今牧我之天主、救贖我脫於一切患難之使者、賜福於二童子、可歸我名下、與我祖父亞伯拉罕以撒之名下、願其在世昌熾蕃衍、約瑟見父以右手按以法蓮首、其意不悅、乃舉父手、欲自以法蓮首、移於瑪拿西首、約瑟謂父曰、父歟、非然、此乃長子、請按右手於其首、父不許曰、我子、我知之矣、此子亦將為一族之祖、亦必昌大、惟其弟將較彼更大、必為多族之祖、是日為之祝福曰、此後以色列人、必指爾為人祝福云、願天主使爾如以法蓮瑪拿西然、於是立以法蓮於瑪拿西之先、

牛二、牡綿羊五、牡山羊五、未盈歲之羔五、以為平安祭、此乃亞米忽子以利沙瑪所獻、○

七日來獻者、乃以法蓮支派之牧伯、亞米忽子以利沙瑪、

他罕子拉但、拉但子亞米忽、亞米忽子以利沙瑪、以利沙瑪子嫩、嫩子約書亞、

其榮若首生之牡牛、其角如野牛之角、以將牴觸異邦至於地極、乃以法蓮之萬萬、瑪拿西之千千、○

求牧以色列人導約瑟族如導群羊之主垂聽、求坐基路伯間之主顯現、在以法蓮便雅憫瑪拿西之前、施展大能、來拯救我儕、

我未至伊及之先、爾在伊及所生二子以法蓮瑪拿西、可視為我子、與流便西緬無異、

計約瑟之後裔、以法蓮之子孫、按世系宗族家室、自二十歲以上、凡能臨陣者、依其名數、

我聞以法蓮哀哭曰、昔我如不習於負軛不習於負軛或作放逸之犢、主督責我、我受督責、求主俾我悛改、我則悛改、蓋主為我之天主、悛改之後、我甚悔於心、受教之後、自搥己髀、自覺愧怍羞慚、因幼時之罪、受辱蒙恥、以法蓮豈非我之愛子、我所悅之赤子乎、我一言之、即顧念之、我心腸為之發矜恤、復加憐憫、此乃主所言、○
