You and your households may eat the rest of it anywhere, for it is your wages for your work at the tent of meeting.

這不全是為我們說的嗎？當然是為我們說的，因為耕種的應當存著希望去耕種，收割的也應當存著希望去分享收穫。我們既然在你們中間撒了屬靈的種子，如果要從你們那裡收穫一些物質的供應，這算是過分嗎？如果別人在你們身上享有這種權利，我們不是更可以享有嗎？然而我們沒有用過這種權利，反而凡事容忍，免得我們攔阻了基督的福音。難道你們不知道，在聖殿供職的，就吃殿中的供物；侍候祭壇的，就分領壇上的祭物嗎？主也曾這樣吩咐，叫傳福音的人靠福音為生。

那些善於治理教會的長老，尤其是那些在講道和教導上勞苦的長老，你們應當看他們是配受加倍的敬重和供奉的。因為經上說：“牛踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴。”又說：“作工的配得工價。”

你們要住在那家，吃喝他們所供給的，因為作工的理當得工資；不必從這家搬到那家。

路上不要帶行囊，也不要帶兩件衣裳，不要帶鞋或手杖，因為作工的理當得到供應。

除了我自己沒有成為你們的重擔以外，你們還有甚麼比不上別的教會呢？這一點委屈，請原諒我吧！

“你要把你撒種所產的，就是田地每年所出的，獻上十分之一。又要把你的五穀、新酒和新油的十分之一，以及你牛群羊群中頭生的，在耶和華你的神面前吃，就是在他選擇作他名的居所的地方吃，好使你可以學習常常敬畏耶和華你的神。

在聖道上受教的，應該和施教的人分享自己的一切美物。
