Then Moses became very angry and said to the Lord,“ Do not accept their offering. I have not taken so much as a donkey from them, nor have I wronged any of them.”

Then Moses became very angry. He said to the Lord,“ Don’t accept their offering. I haven’t taken even a donkey from them. In fact, I haven’t done anything wrong to any of them.”

And Moses was very angry and said to the Lord,“ Do not respect their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them, and I have not harmed one of them.”

Then Moses became very angry and said to the Lord,“ Do not accept their grain offerings! I have not taken so much as a donkey from them, and I have never hurt a single one of them.”

Make room for us in your hearts. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have exploited no one. (niv)

He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. (niv)

But I have not used any of these rights. And I am not writing this in the hope that you will do such things for me, for I would rather die than allow anyone to deprive me of this boast. (niv)

Now I am ready to visit you for the third time, and I will not be a burden to you, because what I want is not your possessions but you. After all, children should not have to save up for their parents, but parents for their children.So I will very gladly spend for you everything I have and expend myself as well. If I love you more, will you love me less?Be that as it may, I have not been a burden to you. Yet, crafty fellow that I am, I caught you by trickery!Did I exploit you through any of the men I sent to you? (niv)

( Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.) (niv)

You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed. (niv)

Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God’s grace. (niv)

Here I stand. Testify against me in the presence of the Lord and his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed? From whose hand have I accepted a bribe to make me shut my eyes? If I have done any of these things, I will make it right.”“ You have not cheated or oppressed us,” they replied.“ You have not taken anything from anyone’s hand.” (niv)

When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain. (niv)

You, Korah, and all your followers are to do this: Take censersand tomorrow put burning coals and incense in them before the Lord. The man the Lord chooses will be the one who is holy. You Levites have gone too far!” (niv)

I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing.You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. (niv)

Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the instruction of our God, you people of Gomorrah!“ The multitude of your sacrifices— what are they to me?” says the Lord.“ I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats.When you come to appear before me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts?Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations— I cannot bear your worthless assemblies.Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals I hate with all my being. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them.When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! (niv)

“ In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, (niv)

But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister,‘ Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says,‘ You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. (niv)
