Then the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke with him, and he took some of the power of the Spirit that was on him and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied— but did not do so again.

耶和華在雲柱中降臨，站在會幕門口，召亞倫和米利暗，二人就出來了。

掃羅打發人去捉拿大衛。去的人見有一班先知都受感說話，撒母耳站在其中監管他們；打發去的人也受神的靈感動說話。有人將這事告訴掃羅，他又打發人去，他們也受感說話。掃羅第三次打發人去，他們也受感說話。然後掃羅自己往拉瑪去，到了西沽的大井，問人說：「撒母耳和大衛在哪裏呢？」有人說：「在拉瑪的拿約。」他就往拉瑪的拿約去。神的靈也感動他，一面走一面說話，直到拉瑪的拿約。他就脫了衣服，在撒母耳面前受感說話，一晝一夜露體躺臥。因此有句俗語說：「掃羅也列在先知中嗎？」

掃羅到了那山，有一班先知遇見他，神的靈大大感動他，他就在先知中受感說話。

因為預言從來沒有出於人意的，乃是人被聖靈感動，說出神的話來。

各樣美善的恩賜和各樣全備的賞賜都是從上頭來的，從眾光之父那裏降下來的；在他並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影兒。

住耶利哥的先知門徒從對面看見他，就說：「感動以利亞的靈感動以利沙了。」他們就來迎接他，在他面前俯伏於地，

先知的靈原是順服先知的；

他在雲柱中對他們說話；他們遵守他的法度和他所賜給他們的律例。

以後，我要將我的靈澆灌凡有血氣的。你們的兒女要說預言；你們的老年人要做異夢，少年人要見異象。在那些日子，我要將我的靈澆灌我的僕人和使女。

他有四個女兒，都是處女，是說預言的。我們在那裏多住了幾天，有一個先知，名叫亞迦布，從猶太下來，到了我們這裏，就拿保羅的腰帶捆上自己的手腳，說：「聖靈說：猶太人在耶路撒冷，要如此捆綁這腰帶的主人，把他交在外邦人手裏。」

日間，耶和華的雲彩是在帳幕以上；夜間，雲中有火，在以色列全家的眼前。在他們所行的路上都是這樣。

凡男人禱告或是講道，若蒙着頭，就羞辱自己的頭。凡女人禱告或是講道，若不蒙着頭，就羞辱自己的頭，因為這就如同剃了頭髮一樣。

神說：在末後的日子，我要將我的靈澆灌凡有血氣的。你們的兒女要說預言；你們的少年人要見異象；老年人要做異夢。在那些日子，我要將我的靈澆灌我的僕人和使女，他們就要說預言。

耶利米吩咐巴錄說：「我被拘管，不能進耶和華的殿。所以你要去趁禁食的日子，在耶和華殿中將耶和華的話，就是你從我口中所寫在書卷上的話，念給百姓和一切從猶大城邑出來的人聽。

此後你到神的山，在那裏有非利士人的防兵。你到了城的時候，必遇見一班先知從邱壇下來，前面有鼓瑟的、擊鼓的、吹笛的、彈琴的，他們都受感說話。耶和華的靈必大大感動你，你就與他們一同受感說話；你要變為新人。

你們要追求愛，也要切慕屬靈的恩賜，其中更要羨慕的，是作先知講道。那說方言的，原不是對人說，乃是對神說，因為沒有人聽出來。然而，他在心靈裏卻是講說各樣的奧祕。但作先知講道的，是對人說，要造就、安慰、勸勉人。

耶和華在雲中降臨，和摩西一同站在那裏，宣告耶和華的名。

內中有一位，名叫亞迦布，站起來，藉着聖靈指明天下將有大饑荒。（這事到克勞第年間果然有了。）

說這話的時候，有一朵雲彩來遮蓋他們；他們進入雲彩裏就懼怕。有聲音從雲彩裏出來，說：「這是我的兒子，我所揀選的，你們要聽他。」
