And the Lord said to Moses,“ Is the Lord’s hand shortened? Now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not.”

耶和華曰、耶和華之臂豈短耶、今必見我言之應否、○

耶和華曰、我豈力不足耶、今將見我言之應否。○

主曰、我力豈不足耶、今爾必見我言應否、

The Lord answered Moses,“ Is the Lord’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.”

The Lord answered Moses,“ Am I not strong enough? Now you will see whether what I say will come true for you.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Has my arm lost its power? Now you will see whether or not my word comes true!”

The LORD answered Moses,“ Is the LORD’s arm weak? Now you will see whether or not what I have promised will happen to you.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Is the Lord’s power too little? Now you shall see whether My word will come true for you or not.”

And the Lord said to Moses,“ Has the LORD’s arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not.”

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Is Jehovah’s hand waxed short? now shalt thou see whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.

The Lord answered Moses,“ Is the Lord’s power limited? You will see whether or not what I have promised will happen to you.”

And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD’S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.

And the LORD said to Moses,“ Is the LORD’s hand shortened? Now you will see whether my word to you will come true or not!”

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Has Yahweh’s hand grown short? Now you will see whether my word will happen to you or not.”

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear;

For I am the Lord; I will speak the word that I will speak, and it will be performed. It will no longer be delayed, but in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it, declares the Lord God.”

Why, when I came, was there no man; why, when I called, was there no one to answer? Is my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, by my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a desert; their fish stink for lack of water and die of thirst.

I am the Lord. I have spoken; it shall come to pass; I will do it. I will not go back; I will not spare; I will not relent; according to your ways and your deeds you will be judged, declares the Lord God.”

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”

For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

But Jesus looked at them and said,“ With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Should this be said, O house of Jacob? Has the Lord grown impatient? Are these his deeds? Do not my words do good to him who walks uprightly?

They tested God again and again and provoked the Holy One of Israel.

Now the king had appointed the captain on whose hand he leaned to have charge of the gate. And the people trampled him in the gate, so that he died, as the man of God had said when the king came down to him.For when the man of God had said to the king,“ Two seahs of barley shall be sold for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, about this time tomorrow in the gate of Samaria,”the captain had answered the man of God,“ If the Lord himself should make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?” And he had said,“ You shall see it with your own eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”

And those who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah, few in number; and all the remnant of Judah, who came to the land of Egypt to live, shall know whose word will stand, mine or theirs.This shall be the sign to you, declares the Lord, that I will punish you in this place, in order that you may know that my words will surely stand against you for harm:

Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned said to the man of God,“ If the Lord himself should make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” But he said,“ You shall see it with your own eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”
