你們當為自己謹慎，也當為全體羊群謹慎。聖靈把你們放在這羊群裡做監督，為要牧養神的教會，就是他用自己的血所贖來的。我知道在我離開以後，凶惡的豺狼將進入你們中間，不會顧惜羊群。你們自己當中也會有人起來，講說一些歪曲的道理，要拉攏門徒跟隨他們。所以你們要警醒，記住這三年來，我日夜不住地流著淚水勸誡你們每一個人。

耶和華擊殺伯示麥人，因為他們擅自看了耶和華的約櫃裡面；他擊殺了民眾五萬零七十個人。耶和華大大擊殺民眾，民眾就悲慟。

你要傳福音，無論得時不得時，總要堅持；要以極大的耐心和各樣的教導責備人、告誡人、鼓勵人，

你要專心誦讀經文、鼓勵和教導人，直到我來。不要忽視在你裡面的恩賜；這恩賜是藉著預言，隨著長老們的按手賜給你的。你要思想這些事，投身其中，使你的長進在大家面前清清楚楚。你要留意自己和自己的教導，在這些事上要有恆心，因為這樣做，不但能救你自己，也能救那些聽從你的人。
