He will subdue them so that you will quickly conquer them and drive them out, just as the Lord has promised.

Harden the hearts of these people. Plug their ears and shut their eyes. That way, they will not see with their eyes, nor hear with their ears, nor understand with their hearts and turn to me for healing.”

You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.

But when you had eaten and were satisfied, you became proud and forgot me.

Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land of flowing streams and pools of water, with fountains and springs that gush out in the valleys and hills.It is a land of wheat and barley; of grapevines, fig trees, and pomegranates; of olive oil and honey.It is a land where food is plentiful and nothing is lacking. It is a land where iron is as common as stone, and copper is abundant in the hills.When you have eaten your fill, be sure to praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.

The priests will enjoy abundance, and my people will feast on my good gifts. I, the Lord, have spoken!”
